i feel like you're very close to saying maddon needs to yell at the team On the contrary. Maddon has said multiple times that he doesn't want to overload his young players with information. If anything I'm blaming Maddon. There's so much information available on every single player and the league has surely uncovered much of it to neutralize our hitters. I'm not seeing enough of an answer from our guys to convince me they are making the right adjustments. Is that contrary?

Just seems strange to call an impromptu press conference with an hours notice to announce it. Also wouldn't that be more of a press release type of thing? for a team in a decent city, sure, but these guys probably feel they have to bend over backwards (not forward cause that's gay) to explain themselves to the bfib.
