  5. if robot umpires aren't actual robots I'm not sure I want them anymore
  6. Well regardless of how well you post, you are still the 2nd best Navin to post at NSBB. Cool. I may change my screen name to Avis then. with the humor you are laying down you might try Mavis - jay leno's wife and the real power behind the denim.
  7. It's the "manly" version of Kyle Fuller not clearing himself to practice after injury.
  8. they hand out the blue check marks this willy nilly? I think most "athletes" get them as soon as they are drafted/signed. Also you can buy a check mark now and/or request one. Don't some of them get them while still in college? I think Josh Rosen is verified
  9. It's funny. A day or two ago, I noticed a post you made a little after the draft where you didn't expect anyone from the draft to play much in 2017 (or something to that effect). I wasn't going to reply to it to gotcha you or anything, it just read kind of funny with the way the story seems to be going on those guys. Trubisky is probably going to start at some point, maybe by the bye (if not sooner), and Shaheen, Cohen, and Jackson are all almost certain to see a ton of snaps. Yeah, I thought Jackson was probably the only guy that'd contribute. I really liked Shaheen, but I thought he was a slight reach. Honestly thought Cohen could have been had much later....I think I was just disappointed with the amount of picks we wound up with and started trying to nitpick, pile on to my already incorrect thinking.....Doubling down on insanity usually doesn't work. Shocker, didn't with that either lol. Its fun that these guys look like true contributors going forward. I'm honestly surprised at them being this advanced. Pace looks like he knows his horsefeathers right now. Rambling a bit, but I want to walk a fine line this year.....One that somehow gets Fox ousted, but shows we're fun and on the right track. Not even sure its achievable, but that's my goal somehow. Unless Trubisky just comes in and puts them in the playoffs lol. And as far as my original argument, the "wait for 2018 for a QB" thing....Man, I really like some of that class. But, there are too many teams that are actively trying to suck out loud. We likely wouldn't have wound up in the Darnold sweepstakes at all and even the next 2 guys, whoever out of that group that separates..... So, if the Bears do ride Glennon for a while and wind up with a top 5 pick.....They can recoup all sorts of picks and do it with a QB already in place, which some of you guys said last year anyway. I am team FINELINE but I will bail in a heartbeat if trubisky gets the job and plays well.
  10. WTF dude, being 6'2" is all I got, don't go calling it short.
  11. Get this soft tossing dunk and dunk Alex smith lookin ass outta here
  12. Its weird to me that people say this when MMA and boxing exist, not to mention wrestling. Eh, I'm not a fan of those sports either. You're not wrong -- those sports are also terrible for the health of its participants, but everyone knows that. The thing is the public didn't realize just how detrimental playing in the NFL was for the long-term health of its players until recently. well sure, but the topics of football players being crippled youn, dying young and killing themselves with steroids has been a topic of conversation in the open since at least the 80's.

  14. let us harken back to a time when football wasn't boring [tweet] [/tweet]
  15. over the past 24 hours, ive seen/heard more people call him trubinsky than trubisky this is so going to be another alshon jefferies thing no matter how good he is I think approximately half of the people saying/writing trubinsky are doing so ironically at this point, considering how much play the mispronunciation thing has gotten.
