  2. Arod is doing Sunday night baseball, Jessica Mendoza staying on with new unnamed play by play guy.
  3. The nets, Michael Kay interviews, Mike Francesca simulcasts and lower level college sports. It's god awful programming that makes it truly pointless to exist. A Cubs channel alone, without at least one partner like the blackhawks, would be a terrible product for consumers.
  4. Not sure how much a special teams assistant matters, but I like the idea of hiring guys with coordinator experience on this staff of relatively inexperienced offensive coaches.
  5. Not sure what this has to do with the original post, but I think the headline is a bit misleading on this article. Just noting the timing of everything coming up sparty.
  6. :( What device? They always work for me.
  7. Why aren't we talking more about Michigan State's attempt to overtake Penn State in the complicit with sexual assault of minors category? https://twitter.com/pattymo/status/954057323869241344
  8. It's fine. Jersey Cubs Fan is going to be a prick. I expect that by now. ConstableRabbit liked my post to "horsefeathers off" for some reason so we're fine. No beef with ConstableRabbit lol. A. Prick
  9. Did you mean F. Off?
  10. God I would kill to be able to watch Todd Haley piss off Jets fans for the next couple years.
  11. I don't get the negative sentiment.
  12. If it's real it makes the most sense for it to be a pitcher. Saves his arm, he'll be perceived as fresh for playoff stretch. A hitter taking 9 months off may not be of much value for a bit.
  13. I don't know what the skol chant is and I think Vikings fans should be mocked for it
  14. if those were the bears' coordinator hires i'd be ready to jump off a building as a fan The OC has been in the NFL since 2008, with one year in the middle working at Alabama. The bears OC has zero NFL experience and was in a broadcast booth last year. They are at least on similar ground.

  16. Perfect example of the horrible form of launching yourself instead of making a tackle. Every time somebody asks "what was he supposed to do" to avoid a penalty, it's this arms down head first nonsense. Don't do that.
  17. Both Walter football mocks have the bears taking Iowa cornerback Jackson, and I don't hate the idea. I've read that WR is deep, and if they can trade back a little and get back into the third, I may be more interested in a blue chip defensive player and then solving offense with quantity. I feel this offense is going to be about spreading it around to many guys rather than finding and relying on one stud WR.
  18. Wait, why not? And why does that have to be prefaced with bring a fan of his?
  19. There's been some talk about Childress being brought on to be some part of the staff. I know he wasn't a great HC, but I wouldn't hate it. Childress himself didn't deny it on the Score this morning...when asked directly if there's any chance he'd come out of retirement to play a role on Nagy's staff, he said he'd let Nagy address that. Not exactly what I had in mind. But he's retired.
  20. Huh? When Kelly was with the Eagles playing up-tempo, the refs would often stand over the ball before the snap to allow the defense to set. No, there are rules in place to partially offset the substation advantage of an offense in the NFL, but they aren't frowning upon up tempo.
