  1. For whom the Fred tolls
  2. Good. These Ricketts scum horsefeathers deserve to be bled like the slippery hogs they are. They have not been surpassed in revenue generation.
  3. this dude's baseball card was ubiquitous in my old collections [tweet] [/tweet]
  4. [tweet] [/tweet] The sooner it begins the sooner it ends
  5. The Cubs have been surpassed in both player development and payroll exploitation
  6. I usually like a nice Canadian team to advance when the hawks aren’t around. But screw Toronto so why not Calgary? Otherwise, I don’t know, Carolina? Unless you want to pick the Islanders just so Rangers fans squirm.
  7. Kaplan is so weird. Occasionally he seems like a decent dude that calls out bad takes and then he goes and says something really meatbally and stupid. He's a massive jock sniffer excepting a certain subsection of athlete.
  8. I believe he is suggesting Yu Darvish is pre-pubescent and his testicles have not descended, and the man whose head looks like a scrotum might know what he's talking about. http://www.trbimg.com/img-59a475e8/turbine/ct-david-kaplan-behind-the-scenes-spt-0827-20170827

  10. A fratbro who is gay. It seems pretty self-explanatory. I think of fratbro culture as being pretty hostile towards homosexuality (at least in the open, weird pledge horsefeathers obviously happens behind closed doors) Just caught me off guard.. But is the gay fratbro somehow worse than straight fratbro? They are the Candace Owens of the culture
  11. All of the pitchers on the staff looking at their ERAs http://31.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lnpr69tJzh1qioszmo1_500.gif Albert Almora looking at his production
  12. Yeah strange, when I went to bed last night it looked like it was going to pour all day and night. Now it just looks like a few hours of rain mid-day. People are bad at reading forecasts
  13. theo after Yu gives up 5 runs in 4 innings
  14. They're injured, not Disabled. As someone who has a disability (deaf), I always cringed when they say it or it was showed onscreen. It didn't bother me that they HAD to change the wording, but I know a lot of other disabled people that wanted them to. Have you seen the twitter thread Sarah Spain has started about donations for heating aids? It’s kind of funny [tweet] [/tweet]
  15. The point is Opening Day festivities / tickets. If Game 1 turns into Game 3 and Game 2 becomes Opening Day, you've got issues.
  16. I don’t know they didn’t move this game to today, they allegedly were thinking about it. It’s going to be a lightly attended game anyways tomorrow with this weather. I don't get why people are surprised that didn't happen. That's one of the most logistically difficult things to pull off in events. TV, fans, workers and just general team concerns have to be addressed. Tomorrow is going to be colder with passing showers, but the forecast is hardly "obvious rainout" territory. And both teams have pitcher issues right now.
  17. I don't know but his wife appears to be watching this game, tweeting this right after the latest newman error.
  18. It's pretty wild that while the bulk of the early season suckiness lies on the non-Lester shoulders of the pitching staff, and the offense has been fantastic overall, that Bryant has been so bad and Almora has been historically awful.
  19. You can't be as bad as the Cubs were for as long as they were, get 4 great seasons out of it and claim to have gotten the most out of it.
