If I knew all it would take for the Cubs to start dominating again, I'd have gone to more games early on. But I will not be attending any of these upcoming games, so it's up to the players. Does Hendricks pull it together after a rough start to the season? Well that's enough from me.

RIP Wun Wun I don't mind the afternoon slot. 4:25 eastern isn't ideal, but at least it's conducive to day drinking and a full night's sleep. One thing that schedule tells me is it would be a good year to cancel sunday ticket.

I think people have PTSD from his past 1.5 years or so. He's gotten off to hot starts and then gotten derailed a little bit. He really juiced that ball in the RF gap. I think he'll be ok and it's been great that Bote/Hey/etc. have been able to pick up the slack. 1.5 years?

This can’t be right, I could have sworn I was like 10th in the list to start a thread. I shouldn’t be up until, end of the month? Well damn, the cubs already lost, how many times? Well at least the weather spared us a Chatwood start. Or at least the need for a Chatwood start. This should be a Yu game, and Joe should let him go past 55 pitches. But Joe wants out of Chicago and we can count on him doing weird stuff. Too bad there isn’t a World Series trophy to drag behind his car since Tom had to hock it to pay off Darvish’s contract. Alas, it is also a day of mourning in the Ricketts family, april 15. Tax day. Enjoy the game, I will, only because I’ll be there.

On this date back in 2014 the Chicago Cubs dropped to 4-7, losing 10-4 to the Cardinals. Carlos Villanueva took the L and his ERA rose to 11.57. Junior Lake was batting leadoff and Nate Schierholtz went 2-4 in the cleanup spot. Also this happened.
