I really like Kane and have no interest in pushing him out the door, but if his marketability increases his trade value it is absolutely a move I'd be interested in. The Blackhawks will take a hit if he leaves, but it doesn't have to be fatal. He's not the best player on the team, at best he's 3rd. And kids/ladies probably love him. But winning is what is bringing the fans back out to the arena. If they can make a smart hockey move that allows them to keep winning without Kane, the team won't miss him from a business standpoint. But I don't think it can be something that drags on. You need to pull the trigger on a move or don't even talk about it.
