  1. Your feelings about Tebow help to explain your malfunctions viewing pleasure sensors.
  2. And? A barely above .500 team won a world series. That 9-7 team had as good a winning percentage as several world series champions have had. Your stance is moronic.
  3. Thankfully its at the Marlins stadium.
  4. http://deadspin.com/5882761/french+canadian-meme-alert-thibaulting-is-the-new-tebowing Apparently Jocelyn Thibault has decided to Tebow.
  5. Yeah, I hate strategy in sports, too. Some strategy in sports is done because the product is crappy. Calling the NFL a crappy product is just plain old idiotic.
  6. http://kissingsuzykolber.uproxx.com/2012/02/the-blame-brady-crowd-is-my-new-favorite-fringe-movement.html at least the boston media is handling this as well as expected.

The link probably won't work because it includes the F word but Gisele went off on the receivers after the game. And somehow she morphed into stefi graf http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/11/2012/02/e74f8b2447547ba11003578a5690ff5e.jpg
  9. You're insane. It can lead to other statements, but it isn't right now. Talking about Eli being a HOF in waiting isn't the same as saying he's better than Peyton. You meathead.
  10. I dont' know what he's referring to specifically, but leading late 4th quarter TD drives to win the Super Bowl are the types of things that can make you an immortal in the sporting world, and probably qualify as moments, you dope. Yes, the meatballs of the sporting world, hence Broadway Joe. We've now come full circle, and I appreciate your support. Broadway Joe's "moment" was predicting they'd win and having his picture taken in a bathing suit. Eli's happened on the football field in the process of winning football games. That's not meatball. That's not some random schmoe like Jim Leyritz hitting a HR. It's a good QB leading game winning drives in 2 super bowls.
  11. That does seem to suggest she wasn't lip syncing, unless her sound engineer was very quick with the control and turned it off to save her. Which I suppose is possible, but probably not. Every live lip syncing show is going to build in some "oh it must be real" moments. That show was terrible, she was a stiff old lady.
  12. I dont' know what he's referring to specifically, but leading late 4th quarter TD drives to win the Super Bowl are the types of things that can make you an immortal in the sporting world, and probably qualify as moments, you dope.
  13. Broadway Joe is in because of one title. You can scoff at any one win Super Bowl QB, but there's very little chance a 2-time winner is going to be kept out especially when he led drives to win both of them at the end of the game. Plunkett is the only one and he's got a journeyman tag on him that prevents it. If Tony Romo and his team didn't repeatedly crap the bed and underperform, and actually won 2 SB in the past half decade, he'd be well on his way to a Hall of Fame induction as well.
  14. I don't agree with that at all. Success at the lowest minor league levels doesn't tell you much of anything (although it's better than a lack of success).
  15. Indy is getting rave reviews from the media
  16. So previous to 2011 he was just mediocre? What would you call a pitcher who averaged 2.5 fWAR per full season, including 1.6 in his most recent? I would call him a young pitcher who had pretty damn good age 24/25 seasons and a mediocre age 26, then a tremendous age 27 season. His partial seasons at age 22 and 23 were nice introductions to the big leagues.
  17. scumbag attention whore
  18. Maybe it was dressed up in women's clothing. I thought it was the cat to get the dog. It starts with the smallest(fly) and works its way up(horse). Perhaps we should break this intense debate off into it's own thread like the price haggling one. Think about what you said again. It starts with the smallest, and then sends in the next biggest to get the previous one.
  19. I never read the "perhaps she'll die" line in that book to my daughter. Then last month she saw Lion King and when Mufasa dies she said, "oh noooooo, the daddy died." So much for self censoring.
  20. [expletive] HIM STRAIGHT TO HELL FOR BEING AN ADDICT AND TRYING TO CHANGE HIS WAYS!! I personally hope the SOB dies. It will probably make for a pretty good movie when he does.
  21. Yes, and probably 8 of the best players on that team are still here.
  22. I'm hugely excited about the top end of those rumors but anything shy of that makes it pointless to deal him this offseason.
