Why would it take a trade of Byrd to get a guy who was released? -
Ok, so the hyperbole didn't match up but we're still talking about a 22 year old who could easily flame out in A ball. That remains to be seen, but if that happens you could hardly justify saying the guy has been proven wrong, a handful of home runs notwithstanding.

Has he really been "proven" wrong about Szczur? He's shown enough to justify people being interested in him, but he's still very far away from being anything we can rely on.

Once they let that first nonsense go with a measly fine, it was inevitably going to devolve into mayhem. These guys have heard nothing but "no head shots and no shenanigans" all season long, and the first thing that happens in the playoffs is it all gets thrown out the window, so let it rip.

If he's actually leaving because of her then it's probably not a "high school girlfriend" situation, but rather a oh crap she's pregnant situation. -

Denver is going to go with the "you can't fix all your holes at once so might as well make one spot really good" theory and select Kendell Reyes. I had him, a CB selected earlier and another player on my list here. Maybe they will be more likely to go the give Peyton weapons route, but I like making the defensive line a potential force as of now. Peyton can work with what he has for now.
