    I don't see a fit. I can't see Hendry dealing Jones this early in the season for prospects knowing Floyds injury history. If Wilken is going to package Ohman with Jones and he's going after prospects I want him going after guys he knows well which is what is going to happen since he put togther the Jays farm.

    The key for Dempster is a lot of work and often. I think the reason he fared so well his first year in the closer role was because he was strechted out that spring to be a starter.

    Wow Hendry and MacPhail were way out of line going after the Trib guys, it's not wonder those two sided with Kent Mercker.

    R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, are my leagues offensive stats I currently have Jimmy Rollins in my utility role and Jose Reyes as my starting shortstop . Jeff Zimmerman is my third baseman. Harang and Rollins for ARod? Harang and Reyes for Arod? Harang is expendable for me because my league does weekly changes and has 4 man rotations. My staff Hamel Willis Harden Felix Hernadez Verlander Beckett Harang and if this trade goes through and opens up a roster spot in time I will be jumping on Bartlo Colon who should be making his debut April 20.

    Is Jeff emerges as a front end of the staff type prospect and we nabbed him in the fifth round it can easily be a steal.

    Man it's sad I still dream when either Wood or Prior will get healthy and do something speacial this year.

    I think it might have been Dibble's first game back from a suspension, but I remember. happened in the late innings. Dibble couldn't find the zone, Cubs rallied, and I think Doug bunted, or hit a chopper up the first base line. weird thing was, Dibble could have gotten an out on the play, but chose to throw the ball at Doug instead. probable roid rage incident. I need to see this and youtube has failed me.

    It's hard to judge how much of a steal the Cubs got here because he's still so raw.

    I think Miller has at least 3 more starts before the Cubs think about a possible switch to Guzman. We can't even include Prior in the picture until he pitches again. Miller has not picked up any velocity like I had hoped he would as he piled on more innings through spring training.

    Did Wood have an injury while coming up in the minors? Last not forget Wood was also diagnosed with a hole in heart if i remember correctly. This guy has never caught a break.

    Theriot ,Izturiz, Derosa are three guys on the Cubs roster who can play short. Walker can play 3b/2b/1b. Lou needs an extra infielder for the days he wants to play Derosa or Theriot in the outfield. Walker fits that bill. He still has some pop and gets on base.
