Some chatter on other boards has the padres making two or three of the top offers they have ever handed out. Someone on XM started this rumor I guess. everones favorite Mlbtraderumors is picking this up

Hendry needs to go for the Juglar here and pull a Detroit here and make a push for Tejeada/Roberts. Then go get Fukodome signed. Hendry can find a way to make something work I don't think the contracts of Marquis or Dempter are terrible that you couldn't get a team to take a bite. Would you guys be willing to take Millar off there hands for some right handed power off the bench?

Pie just seems to high a price for Greene. If they have to move Prior I have a feeling they could do worse than Greene and a Prospect.

that hendry can bring in a whole new middle infield tonight and a new outifielder named Fukodome. Wouldn't it be nice to see Hendry add Roberts/Tejeda/Fukodome and turn this team into the powerhouse of the NL.

I can't help but hold out hope that Hendrys gonna pull of a blockbuster tonight getting Bedard/Roberts Miggy/Roberts from the Orioles to go with his prize free agent Fukodome.

I really think Hendry is going to find a a way to move either Marquis or Dempster. Dempster's deal might look really reasonable to some club after the kind of deals teams like the Reds have been handing out.

If Hendry insists on trading Prior and having De Rosa as a super sub could Blalock handle second base, I know the Rangers had him taking grounders there at one point. It gets another lefty bat in the lineup that gets on base and hits for power. -
Is Khali Greene still on Hendrys radar with his recent talks with the Padres?

Atlanta fans think they paid a steep price in Ascanio . Seems like he was rushed last year and given some more time could blossom into a late inning threat. Reminds me more of Marmol than Cruz.

Hendry moved some payroll and in addition looks like he got a raw but very live arm from Atlanta. Count me in as happy. Now if he finds a way to move Marquis or Dempster were really talking.
