  1. ? Although from this rotoworld blurb it certainly sounds like the Cubs will be cautious with Pie today:
  2. Phils putting on a Cubs like showing, being 1 hit by Tim Redding thru 6
  3. 1. At least he didnt throw down his glove and stomp on it in a cartoonish moment 2. beween Soriano, Zito, and Schmidt, the '06-'07 Offseason wasted a lot of $ 3. Following in the footsteps of the great Augie Ojeda. I dont want to watch when we play Cincy and get smoked by C-Patt 4. Daryle Ward could steel home on that guy 5. it hapens. 6. its called 100 years of frustration 7. annoying, uneducated whichever 8. true. 9. eh Please. Soriano's contract is nowhere near the monumental wreck that those two are. It's not even close. Not yet, at least. True. Is Schmidt even alive?
  4. The Cubs didn't care until the rooftop owners began meddling and held up the building permit when they first started planning the bleacher expansion, as they were afraid the expansion would interfere with their views, and hence, their profits. The rooftop owners brought it on themselves. Exactly. Also, while thats the rooftop owner's property, Wrigley and what goes on inside it belongs to the Cubs and they have every right to block that view if they want to (barring any crazy Chicago zoning laws that I don't know about).
  5. My point is freaking everyone and their grandma knows how you feel about the situation. Seriously. So now its at the point where its just kind of humorous. Pointing out that Riot is the hole in our lineup is like saying the sky is blue, you're not accomplishing anything.
  6. Yeah because we know that Brian Roberts would have gotten two hits and two walks against Ben Sheets yesterday. Your logic is utterly ridiculous. He's still going on about this!? HAHAHAHAHA
  7. I know - this board is already in full meltdown mode. Its hilarious. Oh Roast. So young, so naive. The sooner you realize that the season is over, the Cubs are going to go 0-162, that ARam, Soriano and Theriot are going go hitless all year long and that Kerry Wood is going to give up somewhere around 200 runs this year, the better off you're going to be. But Fukudome is going to hit 162 home runs this year, so it's not all bad. You forgot to mention while batting 1.000 and knocking in 486 RBIs
  8. I'm amazed at how little time it took for the emotional roller coaster to hit full speed.
  9. OUR COBS CANT WIN ANYTHING whatever happened to that Anemic Offense guy?
  10. Worst day ever tomorrow. Ted Lilly is the only Cubs pitcher I've seen win in person and therefore the Cubs will win.
  11. Exactamundo They day off after opening day has long been one of my least favorite days of the year.
  12. remind me to buy you a drink in Pitt for that one I would but I'm only going to the Philly games :( ok philly then I may need that drink sooner rather than later...
  13. remind me to buy you a drink in Pitt for that one I would but I'm only going to the Philly games :(
  14. I've hated you for a long time Craig. This isn't helping.
  15. Whats up with the MC Hammer pants on the Brewers today?
