    Braves pretty much backed out of negotions. DonnieD has a source who supposedly said Peavy to the Braves wasn't happening even when reports said he was going to be traded there. Also supposedly something is supposed to happen today and if not, DonnieD will shed more light on his source. Today as in tonight or tomorrow?

    Great read Meph. I know this may seem knee jerk, but Lee (one of my all time favorite Cubs mind you) worries me. I just get the feeling that he's going to continue a drop-off. At first glance his stats this year aren't that huge of an outlier for him but I would call them concerning. His lack of power has been disconcerting and he put up his lowest SLG this century.

    Santo Jersey shirt w/ big gold 1969 logo on the front, shirt long sleeve undershirt, kahki shorts, brown flip flops, dark navy blue cubs cap. Maybe my Z jersey (unbuttoned). Not sure yet.
