Below the bait fish are the striped bass. That's what you want to do. That's how you want to do your lineup. That way they can't escape. That's how I try to make my lineup out so the opposition can't pitch around this guy or that guy and that guy and can't escape. You try to get them in the crossfire. lol, wut? If you don't appreciate us bashing Dusty, or if you don't believe what we're saying, go to a reds board. We're not forcing you to read our posts. We are all still pissed at dusty and are not going to give evidence every time we bash him. Everyone else on the board acknowledges Baker's veteran fetish and disregard for the significance of obp and walks, so we don't feel the need to include evidence of Baker's shortcomings as a manager in our every post. Thanks, I know I don't have to read them.

Cuetto is only a pony, dude. Blanton is a horse. Can't win without the horses, dude. I must have missed where Dusty was the GM. Dusty has always influenced player acquisitions. My guess is he has the ear in Cincy as well. Dusty is going to want some horses and has little use for the kids unless they help him get one of the horses. And nothing has shown this to be true. The Reds actually traded Josh Hamilton for another "kid" pitcher.

    Nope. If somebody is going to start in CF other then Bruce it will be Hopper. Dusty will want to use Freel in the super sub role. I think Bruce will start in CF, though. "Book it."

"Dude" and "Gotta have the horses" are straight from Baker's mouth. I just browsed Cincinnati's 40 man roster, Juan Castro looks an awful lot like Jose Macias. Thanks to Dusty, he's going to get lots of playing time. Dude is versatile! No I'm not. I live in the Chicagoland area. I am well aware of the comments he has made. Juan Castro has been annoying for a few years now, long before Dusty came. Freel is more like Macias, IMO.

    Keep hoping. Votto for Blanton? Sure. Anything more? No way Votto and Bailey or Cueto? Yeah right. My personal guess would be Votto, Stubbs, and an as yet unnamed pitching prospect in the lower minors. That would make more sense.

    First off, your math is pretty bad (2003-1945 = 58 years). He also mortgaged the team's future for that one playoff run and crippled the Cubs going forward. Oh, and he's an awful manager. But yeah, we're sad. OH I'M SORRY. He took the Cubs the deepest into the playoffs in 58 years, and won their first playoff series in 100 years. My bad. He didn't cause Alou, Lofton, Sosa, Karros to be old and Alex Gonzalez to be bad. Kerry Wood was doomed to get hurt. Prior? Hopefully he learned his lesson, lol.

    Yeah Dusty took the Cubs farther into the playoffs then they've gone in the last 100 years....boy did you learn the hard way. You guys are sad. If Dusty takes us to the NLCS (like he did with the Cubs) or World Series (like he did with the Giants), I'll be happy.
