  1. nasty hossa
  2. I'm of the opinion that every new sports stadium should have a retractable roof. A lot of Indiana taxpayers would disagree with you. For the Colts it was a cool waste of $75 million. They closed the roof on the beautiful day that was last Sunday, 80 degrees and sunny out. Why? Because it wasn't 72 degrees, the temperature they keep the stadium at when the roof is closed. I believe they had it open for one of their games earlier this season, but guaranteed it won't be open for any remaining games this season as the temperature drops. That's a pretty bad return for 10% of the stadium cost.
  3. sweet goal
  4. I turn the game on and someone is being wheeled off on a stretcher, what happened there?
  5. Very much so, but it seems the Marlins are pretty intent on keeping him.
  6. Sure was worth that guaranteed 1 million. Hanie should be the #2 and LeFevour should be the #3. Collins should be at home watching with the rest of us.
  7. Go Wisconsin.
  8. With Rodgers likely out against the Dolphins due to his concussion and the Vikings having to play the Jets in New York tomorrow night, Bears could be sitting pretty in the division.
  9. I could see them being dogs in Seattle, not at home though. They did lose to the Rams 20-3. Pretty confident the Bears take this game.
  10. And Aaron Rodgers has a concussion.
  11. Idonije and Forte huge bright spots today. A friend of mine benched Forte on his fantasy team this week so I had some fun with that, 166 yards and 2 TD's, good for 7.5 ypc. Hanie should have played the whole game...like many of us posted earlier. Defense spectacular as usual. Come back now Cutler.
  12. Williams to start at RG, Webb at RT. http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/10/webb-williams-expected-to-start-on-o-line.html
  13. Hendry is a farking cancer. Its too bad Ricketts gobbles this [expletive] up. As far as the payroll staying the same if not lowering next year isn't that big a deal, Ricketts could give Hendry 200 million and the Cubs would still suck. I feel like Ricketts is using the promise of improving the farm system to save money from the major league payroll while not actually increasing the farm budget significantly at all.
  14. I would have Cutler in the shotgun constantly, let's see some no huddle.
  15. Would have been nice to have seen more money spent in the draft. I think if that would have happened we would have a much more positive outlook, in spite of Hendry's lifetime contract.
  16. its on atdhe.net
  17. Then the Yankees wasted $4 and the Cubs wasted $2. Now the yankees have people paying them lots of money to watch them eat the burger. I just look at it as the overspending on the burger reducing the risk of not getting it, which I wouldn't categorize as wasting. Somone who doesn't break that tipping point (playoffs) loses out both ways, and is truly the wasteful one. I believe the Cubs wasted more because they got no payoff, but the Yankees clearly wasted on their way to "ensuring" the playoffs. Just because you ended up with what you wanted doesn't mean it is not wasteful to spend whatever it takes to get there. But doesn't a lot of what you wasted get returned to you? Added revenue and championships?
  18. I'd gladly take Hanie's arm strength and potential over Collins' experience. Either way the offense is going to be toned down, might as well have the guy in there that can produce the big play at some point. If the Bears could run the ball I would be perfectly fine with Collins this game.

  20. Sounds like Tice wants to run the ball more. Unfortunately, the big guys on the Bears can't do that either.
  21. Wasn't he in the starters spot before the wrist injury in the preseason? I just want to see him get healthy so the coaching staff knows what they have, the safety play again has yet to impress. Even the hard hits that usually came from Chris Harris have become more infrequent. Can't hurt to see the young guy getting more snaps and possibly put a playmaker back there, a role that DJ Moore is helping the defense out with right now from the nickelback position.
  22. Fantastic news regarding Cutler. Williams needs to get back already and it would be awfully nice to see Major Wright get some snaps.
  23. This seems pretty unavoidable.
  24. Depends on who replaces him. Good luck to Brenly though. I always figured he would get another managers job somewhere.
  25. What kind of self-respecting man describes anything as cute?
