  1. The guy does a lot of speaking appearances. Hell he even came to my high school to talk to our football team. I remember he said the only way to get in the NFL is if you weigh 400 pounds. We actually did have a 400+ pounder there, the younger brother of Aaron Gibson.
  2. The over excessive use of tasers can be a problem. That's why we see news stories pop up about diabetics or epileptics or what have you being mistaken as drunks, being tasered and possibly causing fatal injuries. These lardo cops and security personnel should be required to stay in respectable shape so that tasers are a last resort. Since not becoming fat isn't an option for the majority of America however, this is the most effective solution around.
  3. Manning is useful as nickelback and kick returner. They need the depth at CB. Hopefully Graham impresses and Moore shows up, Bears need a lift in the entire secondary, not just S.
  4. Why? I think Afalava could become what Harris is. Cheaper and younger too.
  5. Well our offense can score against Milwaukee, and I have faith in our starting pitching. Likely the 1st Z implosion will be this series before he settles down into his role.
  6. I'm actually more interested in the cubs now.
  7. Still has 7 k's to 1 BB to boot. High pitch count though.
  8. 2nd Cleveland tourism video has been made in response to Noah: (NSFW language) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZzgAjjuqZM That was made a year ago, but it's still really funny. Hah. I wasn't even close. It is definitely hilarious though.

  10. Your best bet is to go to Neogaf. Best video game message board by miles. More comments in a day about the game you're looking for then you will see in a month on this site.
  11. Yeah, Theriot likely has to hit the DL before we see Castro. If Castro keeps murdering the ball though things might change. I don't want to see the 2nd base platoon messed with and if Castro is up he needs to be playing everyday. Theriot just ruins everything.
  12. Using +/- is a bad stat if you use it in this way. It is however a great stat if you are comparing a set of players on teams of similar talent. Daryl Morey supposedly uses this stat heavily. However, I've read he goes really deep with it. He doesn't look at overall +/- for a person. Instead he looks at +/- in comparison to others on his team and others playing similar roles on teams that are relatively equal to each other. That will show you whether or not the guy helps his team. Yeah I've actually read about that. And how he measures rebounders more effectively, something about team rebounds with a certain guy in the game. Don't remember, but Morey knows what he's doing.
  13. Yeah I think that's a problem with it -- just blocks and steals. I figured, I love Steve Nash, but his defense has to drop him a ton when comparing point guards. Steve Nash doesn't play defense. He just stands at half court and waits.
  14. Good and obvious move to make. Hopefully he can stick out there and a starter at G can be brought in the 3rd or 4th.
  15. +/- is a pretty crappy stat. But PER is pretty good. Both of them have Rondo in the top 5, which doesn't surprise me.
  16. I'd have Rajon Rondo in my top 5. Top 5 d-bags as well.
  17. Seriously. Is the Parker/Gaub/Stevens triumvirate on the Cubs' radar?
  18. That's from Gordon Wittenmyer's twitter. Lou must be drunk at this point. If he was actually just constantly drunk I wouldn't care as much. The fact that he's deliberating on these ideas sober is whats troublesome.
  19. But gangbangers or something...
  20. So frustrating.
  21. While I wouldn't mind Trammel getting a shot, I don't see it. You would think maybe after the season, but the Cubs hard on for Sandberg can't be ignored. I don't think he will get the fair shot he deserves. Once Ram heats up and the bullpen figures itself out though, I don't see Lou's seat being that hot.
  22. Assist to TO ratio is important for a PG, since they do the majority of the ball handling. You'd like to see your PG have a high assist total, or if his main objective is to score, then to keep TO's to a minimum. If he can't handle that, he's usually just a SG not playing off the ball. I would agree that distribution is the priority of a PG. Nothing wrong with scoring a lot as the PG, as long as you're helping your team win. Its just not the PG position in the classical sense and you hope that rest of the offense doesn't struggle or become stagnant as your dribble the ball around for your own shot.
