  1. they look pretty massive to me. I was kidding. Somebody said earlier in the spring that they were twigs or something like that. I thought maybe Al "I'm blind" Yellon infiltrated NSBB with your account.
  2. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/y2006/gd.html?2007_03_22_chnmlb_sdnmlb_1&brand=mlb
  3. Karma is one bad motha.
  4. Will they allow you to bring in something like that? I figured they wouldn't. My buddy used to work security at Wrigley, I can ask him Just conceal it beneath a coat, pregnant woman style. Works like a charm. Most civi pat downs - if you even get one - miss just about every likely place to conceal something. Pretty sad if you ask me.
  5. He was passed out in his car w/o putting the car in park? Didn't even blow a 0.1 BAC? Lightweight.
  6. I was making a joke, for christs sake. I'm on your side. Don't you remember? GilesBros = optomistic about everything!! I was trying to make a tongue in cheeck joke, to break up the name calling. That was uncalled for honestly. I was just playing with the pessimist here. No offense to you, mi amigo.
  7. Cedeno has ridiculous range and a great arm, but can he make the routine plays? He has the natural ability to win Gold Gloves at SS. He also has the ability to make 20+ errors at SS. If he gets it together on defense, he'll put it together on offense. W/O idiots like Dusty and Clines pushes the swing early/often approach, Cedeno will improve his plate patience, which was on the upswing until last year.
  8. Is Marquis going to be league average in VORP? Yes,
  9. are you saying he'll be good? then YES i do. i'm in on that too. Define good. Less than league average ERA? Absolutely.
  10. Is he? Yes. Fooled me Yes. You = fool. :( I'll be damned. I didn't realize we were calling names now. Fool me once. Shame on you. Fool me twice, BANNED. Wah wah. Want to lay bets on Marquis's season?
  11. Is he? Yes. Fooled me Yes. You = fool. :(
  12. As a Cards fan I can tell you that you are gonna be saying that exact same quote all year long. Get ready to miss the playoffs.
  13. Cedeno can be flat out amazing with the glove. It's the routine plays that give him trouble. I think Lou's coaching staff wll help him big time. Repitition gets rid of the routine errors.
  14. Marquis got sloppy. Fastballs on hitter's counts? DUMB. Marquis is better than that.
  15. I think he really likes Iowa. But the good thing is, Scott Eyre amazingly finished the inning with no runs given up. Eyre's actually pretty damn good when he isn't injured. With his offseason fitness routine, I think he's in for a great year.
  16. QFT And a lot of bottles of Jack from pockets will be appearing I prefer the camelback approach coupled with pre-gaming, but that's just me. What does camelback mean? http://www.camelbak.com/index.cfm It's a "hydration" system. We used them a lot in the military. Much better than water bottles...helps keep your body temp down if you keep the liquid cold to start out with.
