Soriano and Murton both ranked as two of the best LF in baseball last year. Most advanced metrics had Jones at above average, too. The outfield defense will be fine. As long as Floyd isn't playing. Agreed! He's the weak link out there... Then maybe we should trade Floyd so Pie can split time with Jones in CF until he gets comfortable then trade Jones mid-season? :) I don't think we can trade Floyd until mid-season as he was a FA pickup.

If it was a dubious called looking and a foul tip to get 2 of the 3 strikes...how bad could he really have looked? He barely got a piece and looked foolish on the strikeout.
