    There's been discussion about his struggles in other threads, but he kind of needs his own at this point. What the hell is wrong with him? I'm surprised that there haven't been more suggestions that his arm is finally worn out. But anyone have any other theories?

    Doesn't it get old to make horribly outlandish trade proposals that would absolutely never happen? Yankees get: Koyie Hill Red Sox get: Melky Cabrera Cubs get: Mark Teixiera, Alex Rodriguez, Babe Ruth, Jason Bay, Josh Beckett I don't see the allure.

    Reading WSI is all kinds of hilarious. They're swearing about the number of "guests" visiting the board, assuming they're all Cubs fans and fuming about it.

    I managed to trade my tickets for Tuesday's game for tickets to today's, as I could not have gone to a September makeup. If this one now gets rained out too, I give up.

    Teahen actually seems like exactly the kind of player we should target. He's inexpensive in both prospects and dollars, and he really is a poor man's DeRo. He's even logged innings at second this year, which surprises me. Count me in as a supporter of this move, but I haven't heard Teahen's name as being out there.

    2008 Cubs without any hesitation. If you're asking me if I'd rather have a World Series than a playoff sweep, the answer is obvious, but the 08 Cubs would drum the 06 Cardinals.

    The first year Soriano's stayed off the DL has easily been his worst with the Cubs.
