  1. Thus ended the "Patient Cubbies Era". Signal the birth of "Neo-Dustianism" aka "being aggressive" do you know what you are talking about? Von Joshua is very much about patience at the plate. so you're saying nothing changes? .......great I hold my original assessment. I don't care what Joshua teaches, he can't be nearly as effective at promoting patience as Perry has been his whole career. I'm not buying what your selling, and even if you're right, there's no improvement. Just admit you don't know what you're talking about man.
  2. Rothschild is superb.
  3. Um... change for the sake of change isn't good. Hurdle wasn't a good manager.
  4. Just throwing crap on a wall here.
  5. Of course. Something has got to change.
  6. I know that Geo's struggling, but REALLY???
  7. Soriano... exactly like Carlos Beltran!
  8. Okay, we get that you don't like Fukudome.
  9. At this point, I doubt a position player is going to make the roster. I think it'll be Ted Lilly or Carlos Zambrano. Those are pretty much the only possibilities as far as I see.
  10. I agree ... fans need a target and MB is an easy one. Hes an easy one because hes brought it all on himself this year by playing like a little leaguer As someone who has not been particularly harsh on Bradley, I don't understand how several people here are defending Milton. Because he's the only one in the outfield hitting right now. His OPS over the past 7 games is .397. He's not producing and he's making stupid mistakes and not paying attention.
  11. Not much of a day for Kosuke.

  13. Way better than Gaudin or Wuertz. Way better.
  14. No, I'm pretty sure it's mostly Bradley playing like a little leaguer. And his solid line drive was from a broken bat.
  15. I'm with you. I'm not all for booing players for poor performance. But poor effort and not even paying attention absolutely deserves it.
  16. Bradley deserves a shower of boos right now. With his temperament, this could be an ugly signing in more ways than one.
  17. Come on. Did you see what he did? I did, but no harm no foul. All it did was advance a dude from 1st to 2nd with a power hitter up to bat. That does not make it okay.
  18. Come on. Did you see what he did?
  19. I was praying that might tie the game.
  20. Soriano is just unbelievable.
  21. Seriously that was a fastball right down the middle of the plate and he swung right thru it. Its not like Slowey has an overpowering fastball. Soriano is hurting this team more by playing than he would if he just took a week or 2 off. Hoffpauir in left sounds really nice right now.
  22. With the pinstripes and his switch hitting, he reminds me of Mickey Mantle. http://intensities.files.wordpress.com/2008/12/gc1.jpg
