  1. My least favorite part about Aaron Miles is that he wears #7, the number of two of my favorite Cubs in recent memory in Todd Walker and Mark DeRosa.
  2. It's sad to think that two runs is probably enough to win it.
  3. Hahaha, so in other words, 19 sumthin like that. As someone who was 21 on July 6, 2008, I can tell you that the getting so worked up over a game will pass. Don't worry about it.
  4. The pitcher wants you to swing at "his pitch". On gameday the one to Fukudome looked outside. The one to Lee created an out. The one to Hoff was a ball. A first pitch fastball is not a no brainer swing away situation. Yea but how many times do we see them take a first pitch fastball down the middle of the plate then swing at strike 3 low in the dirt. Id rather them jump on that first pitch if they can. I don't know how many times, but this time you freaked out after what appeared to me (via gameday) on a first pitch fastball that was at best, on the outside corner. I get a really pissed off a lot easier this year than last year. This team is just so frustrating to watch I almost wish i didnt care about the Cubs my emotions ride day to day on how they do. if they win Im in a great mood of they lose Im pissed the whole day. Im the same way with Kentucky basketball. How old are you?
  5. Kevin Gregg inspires the opposite of confidence.
  6. If we can get Blum, Erstad isn't exactly a scary hitter. But as I type it, doesn't matter.
  7. Fingers crossed for the twin killing so we can sit through excruciating extra innings.
  8. Walk Berkman and hope for a double play of some kind.
  9. Don't have to worry about extra innings, by the look of it.
  10. The Astros seem to have had a knack for dramatic milestones lately. Hopefully Berkman's 300 isn't such a milestone.
  11. Am I wrong in thinking that Guzman appearing here indicates that he is, at least for now, above Marmol on the totem pole?
  12. I despise extra innings on the road. Not enough to hope they don't happen, but God do I hate them.
  13. You running him back out there if Cubs score? I wouldn't. Give me Guzman. I assume Gregg and Marmol will be warming up and Gregg will head out if the Cubs take the lead. Make that Gregg and Guzman.
  14. Best outing of the season for Z. I doubt he's got another inning in him. We'll see.
  15. Random question; which team is more popular in Texas between the Rangers and Astros?
  16. Moderately shocked that Bradley got up.
  17. I don't get it. nor do I You see, he looked like poop in that at bat, which is what MB has looked like all year. Racist.
  18. Marmol's getting up. Here's hoping Z finishes the inning so we don't have to see how that would go.
  19. Bradley seems to be in fairly good health this year compared to most of his career.
