    Gil Meche is another guy we could probably get for almost nothing. And he's a big upgrade over Marquis and Gallagher, IMO.

    Going for the monster park in Oakland to the tiny park in SF obviously wasn't going to bode well for Zito. Everyone in the world knew it. lol wat Oh come on it is barely 421 to right center with a 25 foot wall. :D Okay, the gaps are big but down the line its nothing. 339 in left and 309 in right? That's a hitters park. Between the San Francisco weather, high walls, and some parts of the park that are very deep it is definitely not a pitchers park. It also neutralizes left handed home run power quite a bit.

    I don't follow the minors as closely as many here... is Veal still considered a legit prospect? I had heard a lot of doubts that he can make it as a starting pitcher.

    If you find relevant stats (ie baseball stats) important, it's not debatable. If we want to talk about their 100m dash times, well, maybe it's arguable.
