    He had to hold up to make sure it wasn't caught. Even after that though, he should have been able to score. Markakis had to go aways to get it. It was hit hard right at him and he has a cannon. If Edmonds hadn't held up at all to see if it was caught I think there was stil a decent chance he'd get thrown out. As the situation was in reality, he'd have been out by a ton.
