  1. Hard to say, there’s a lot of interesting younger strikers and the most clear cut chance for Hoppe(U20 world cup) was cancelled. If he keeps scoring Bundesliga goals that will solve itself, but right now it’s a bizarre blender of guys behind Zardes/Jozy with Sargent, Dike, Akinola, Gioacchini, not to mention guys like Weah, Ebobisse, Vassilev, or Ferreira who could force themselves into consideration. I’m pretty confident *somebody* will take a big enough step forward to differentiate themselves and put themselves in position to unseat the current starters, but handicapping the race is impossible. but then he has more bundesliga goals this season than Sargent, doesn't he?
  2. I don't think that price is low. Haaland may be the most valuable commodity in soccer outside perhaps Mbappe. Or is this irony?
  3. The bad side of Mourinho ball coming out. Ultimately luck and fatigue are huge factors and when you sit back, sooner or later bad things will happen (unless you're athletico). Then, your attacking players start to get frustrated and don't work as hard. If you aren't deep, your starters get fatigued. Then everyone gets pissed off. If you're lucky, you win a title before it all melts down, but that isn't going to happen for Spurs. Though I will say Liverpool being held this weekend was rather shocking. I just have a hard time seeing any one other than them winning the PL this year.
  4. don't worry, he's angry with himself.
  5. It's so boring! It would seem pretty simple from a competitive standpoint to set up a legit playoff. Five Big 5 teams - conferences pick their champion - one team per conference. 3 from other 5 conferences and independents - perhaps they have a play in game (unfair but better than current system). Claiming logistics is [expletive] - they could totally make this happen. It's 10 games.
  6. CFP sucks. Until it's a competition and not a money only enterprise, who cares?
  7. It's nice that this is now a debatable subject. I'm not going to because I think these awards are ridiculous.
  8. yea, I guess I meant just more on buzz. Good to have both. CP has been good but Chelsea not scoring much. Reyna has been Dortmund's offense since Haaland got hurt.
  9. Hey, an American picked up an assist in that Chelsea-Wolves game - that's right Owen Otasowie set up the equalizer! Pulisic looked good until Chelsea fell apart and stopped getting him the ball.
  10. Turning on the backswing has helped me a lot. Especially when I also avoid rocking back.
  11. http://archive.naplesnews.com/columnists/sports/jim-suttie-how-to-stop-pulling-your-golf-ball-ep-391600071-342919132.html
  12. this sounds backwards to me. ball goes direction of face at contact. if it's a straight pull, you're swinging out to in with the face on the swing path. That's what is happening. I'm *trying* not to go out to in, but it's happening anyway. sounds like you're early in your rotation.
  13. make sure you're hat is backwards and you have a tee between your teeth.
  14. Is it just a straight pull or do you have a draw/fade with it? Straight pull. And I can feel myself doing it with my arms, so I think it's club path and not face. If it were face, I'd think it was gonna go straight and then it would mysteriously go left. These, I keep telling myself I'm gonna swing the club path away like going the opposite way with a baseball swing, and but as soon as I make contact I can feel myself yanking a pull (heyo). I think something is getting out of sync between upper body, arms and lower body. Maybe too much arm in the swing? this sounds backwards to me. ball goes direction of face at contact. if it's a straight pull, you're swinging out to in with the face on the swing path.
  15. No rain down there? - we are finally getting a decent storm. Still people out playing today but not for me!
  16. Good thing is it doesn't matter, but has Reyna passed Pulisic? I mean, the injuries are just endless for CP and Reyna scoring sexy goals is easier to appreciate for the average fan. Not too surprised about Favre - they never quite seem to be able to get it together consistently.
  17. The US would do itself a huge favor by taking care of business in those early games. They should be favorites in the first 11 (maybe no Mexico). While likely some hiccups on the road, they should be somewhere in the 25-30 point range at a minimum and hopefully can clinch on not have to call in their top European players for the late games.
  18. wow that's a lot of games! Using flags in the schedule seems unnecessarily complicated . . .
  19. Nice! There is a par 5 I can reach in 2 but haven't gotten it quite right yet . . . that's awesome!
  20. Well, I almost cracked 300 on a drive . . . got the elusive slight draw and ended up 293.
  21. yea, I'll buy that rotation is everything. Slightly wider stance allows good rotation on longer clubs. Swinging down is my key to those hybrids. I've gone from hitting the 5h 150 to 180. outdistancing my shorter irons for the time being . . .
  22. Technically the 6th ranked team in CONCACAF, ahead of Panama, Canada and T&T. They did not look good at all yesterday, however, against the US B/C team. They mentioned ES hadn't been together since last January and met at the airport for this game. Not sure how much time these US players had together either. The amount of time US players had to get shots off was a bit absurd though.
  23. I thought Yueill's passing was notable.
  24. This headline is what I mean about Man U "RB Leipzig shock Manchester United to eliminate them from Champions League" I mean, who is shocked by this? Certainly no one that follows soccer. Leipzig drew with Bayern on the weekend but we're supposed to be shocked they beat mighty Man U?
  25. They're the notre dame of soccer - always over-rated. They should have lost this game by 3 or 4. ManUs first goal was about the weakest penalty I have ever seen. At halftime the ref must have seen Ronaldo's penalty and challenged himself to out-do it. Ironically, it was Lahos - a Spanish ref (and likely the most egotistical ref in the world).
