  1. I'm not - what is it about $50k per person now? Luck is a big part of the game unfortunately.
  2. alas, lady luck turns against us - David Williams gets all in preflop with K-9 offsuit against Michael McClain's J-J. The board comes J-Q-4-6-X with four clubs. Williams makes an unlikely club flush on the river, and doubles up to about $650,000. Survivable though.
  3. Very nice! Latest - down to 16 - Mike has $1.6 chips - putting him in a big bunch in that range but well behind Raymer.
  4. so it goes! for all you diehards: http://www4.pokerpages.com/blog/
  5. Incidentally Bri - we may come to Vegas this weekend. Wayne Brady is one funny dude . . .
  6. more on Doyle . . . for the curious there is a video of this event > > > > http://www.premierleaguepoker.com/doyleoutdsl.wmv > > > > > > that's a pretty funny video. 7. I like this quote too: "I was thinking to myself how poorly the guy in the 9 seat plays - he just > plays a lot of hands and always limps in, never raising. A little later I > got a better look at him and realized it was Doyle Brunson, heh."
  8. yea, the late night was a little disappointing but he's still in good position and has enough to not be leveraged too badly. he may have gotten conservative after Tuesday night - this is his description of the last hand he played Tuesday - I got moved to another table, and it was also fairly tough. It did > have one nutcase there.... Chuck the Dealer from Bay101. Cameras rush over to film the hand, since > the pot is [expletive] huge. My brain has no oxygen as the turn and river > cards are revealed... ten.... then an ace! > > When I last saw Chuck, he did not look so good. > > So I've got $604k.... I find it shocking that I have to get this lucky > again for two more days just to get to the final table. I don't know > how anybody wins.
