99 regular season wins and a 11-1 record in the playoffs is not luck. You guys are starting to sound like.... Sox fans... I'm just waiting for one of you to say you'd rather see the Sox lose than the Cubs win. Then we'll know the transformation is complete. Anyone short of having a biblically superior team going 11-1 in the playoffs requires a lot of luck. Their pitching health and success was also "fortunate". I really don't care about the Sox that much, but much like the Nationals(until they collapsed) last year, it grates on me when their success is misconstrued. I know what you mean. This game does take things going your way sometimes. Luck in the right places can change the way a season goes. That said, every team has good and bad luck. The season is too long to not get some of both. I remember a lot of Cub fans telling Sox fans to worry about their team and not concern themselves with how the Cubs are doing. It seems like a lot of folks aren't taking their own advice. our team isn't playing yet!
