  1. how? The ball was in front of the LF - no way Pagan would have scored on that. if he had been successful stealing, he would have scored.
  2. one thing I love about young players is they run out of the box.
  3. this pepsi commercial is horrible. i just hope the writers were trying to be ironic.
  4. Seriously, are they going to call up Rohlicek because Ohman blew up the last two games? Novoa isn't bad, but it's a shortsighted move. wuertz is having some command issues. I think its good to let him go get it together at Iowa.
  5. Pagan is young also so what's the difference? if I start to think like dusty, shoot me. Done. hmmm, maybe I shouldn't have said that to someone close enough to do it.

  7. because he didn't do well until traded. wuertz sent down - who was called up?
  8. I think dusty is just trying to keep the pressure off murton and cedeno.
  9. Todd Walker round 17 burning bulbs Kenny Rogers round 12 Alamo Stealth
  10. since they are in arizona, sacramento is no more inconvenient than des moines. of course, it would have to stop raining there first.
  11. Yup, definitely agree. Guzman still sounded rusty and had some problems with the control - especially his breaking pitches - despite not walking anyone. Hill starts tomorrow, Ryu Sunday. I don't mind giving Williams a shot to start. But why are we letting Rusch start again? Why don't we give Hill or Ryu a chance to if Guzman's control isn't up to par? As for Rusch going to the Astros, I would much rather see him go to the American League so we don't have to face him again. You know he would pitch one of those "I'm going to show my old team why they shouldn't have let me go" type games. It's virtually guaranteed. yea, I'm thinking Rusch and the juicebox are a good mix. he'd hurt the astros quite a bit.
  12. you seriously think alou's "fit"made a difference? That's pretty dubious if you ask me.
  13. there are no circumstances that the risk was worth taking. none. his being at third would have done absolutely nothing to help the team win.
  14. I picked Perez in the 2nd round last year. I still finished 3rd. That's how good (read: lucky outside of Perez)) I am. i dont get my dish untill monday, yet another game i miss :( at least i have XM and you get XM on directv too! did you know that?
  15. I'm just messing around. I will continue to revel in his failures however.
  16. ah, its been fun anyway! The second time was even better than the first! Get some sleep - night game tomorrow.
  17. are you drunk? :)
  18. A guy who plays in a way damaging to his body's performance starts to decline at an age past his prime? Shocking. off the cliff. sosaesque . . .
  19. neither clement or zambrano was pitching very well by that point though IIRC
