    I love how the Rays overrated Baldelli(just like all their players). I'd say his trade value is down to either bucket of balls, or gatorade cooler. Just because they got Kaszmir for V. Zambrano makes them think that they will get a kings ransome for all their players.

    A trade for Hunter would be 100% unneccessary. A 31 year old OF posting a career season in a contract year? Hendry already has a 6 year deal printing out for him to sign this offseason.

    Maybe we can keep him around as some "novelty", but I really question what he can bring out of the pen. I'm assuming that he would be able to make 2 appearences per week...3 tops. Then we would have to overtax the rest of the pen to make up for this. That being said, I'd rather have a roster spot dedicated for a weekly Wood appearence over Scott Eyre.

    I really hope the Royals take Vitters off the board for us. The questions regarding his power potential and plate patience really sour me on him.

    I really don't understand the Felix Pie/Corey Patterson comparisons... Patterson was a "little man" trying to be a power hitter...Pie is 6'2 and while he is real thin now, has the frame to bulk up. I see Pie as a legit 30+ HR/season type of player.
