  1. We disagree. Can't you let it go? Everyone knows you think we'd get crushed. And Truffle, thanks to TV we play Tuesday or Wednesday all of November. I agree with Meph, while it would be cool to see a team like them go. They will get crushed and I have no desire to watch it. I think an ACC or Big East winner could at least compete with a team from the Big XII or SEC in the BCS. Ball State would get murdered by them all. Utah, at the very least, probably can make it a game against the Alabama's, Ohio State's, Penn State's of the world and will probably beat the Big East winner. Although a Miami-Fl vs Utah game would be very entertaining. Boise State would get rocked though. Really I think we'll see this: Sugar Bowl: SEC Loser vs Utah Orange Bowl: ACC Winner vs Big East Winner Fiesta Bowl: Big XII Loser vs Ohio State Rose Bowl: USC vs Penn State National Championship: SEC Winner vs Big XII Winner I do not think we will see a game where the ACC or Big East champs have a chance to prove their merit against a top ten team. If that Sugar Bowl is Utah vs Alabama, that could be a very good game. Alabama does not have the fire power to outclass Utah on defense, so it should be close. USC will cruise passed Penn State. Big XII (South) Loser (Texas) will cruise passed Ohio State. ACC Winner ought to outclass Big East Winner. SEC Winner ought to be favored over Big XII winner. Keep in mind the potential matchups for the Cotton and Capital One Bowls. If Oregon State can beat Arizona and Oregon (which is possible) Then we more than likely have: National Title: Oklahoma/Texas Tech Winner vs Florida/Alabama Winner Fiesta Bowl: Texas vs USC Cotton Bowl: Georgia vs Oklahoma/Texas Tech Loser Capital One Bowl: LSU vs Ohio State That would be fun.
  2. Why does Notre Dame football suck?
  3. i dont know if anyone mentioned this yet but the espn has rights to the bcs from 11 to 16 now. and no one wants to see ball state to get their ass beat down on national tv. not even you

  7. yeah this could have been the radio guy speculating. i didnt hear it but thought id pass it along.
  8. im serious. fwiw: apparently this is a legit rumor coming out of beantown's airwaves. weird.
  9. Heh. Hypothetical matchup. The Citadel vs Washington State in a neutral field: 60.8% The Citadel over Washington State. As always these are derived by Sagarin. I should make note that Florida has now passed USC as top team in it. For all intents and purposes though USC and UF are tied. Each of them would be about nearly a touchdown favorite against #3 Texas or #4 Penn State (who are equivalent). Really Sagarin splits things into tiers: First Tier: Florida USC Second Tier: Texas Penn State Third Tier: Everyone else, with Oklahoma being slightly better than them all. In case you're interested. Progressive ratings the last two months http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f189/kctigers23/NSBB1-2.gif

  12. one of the guys in the office scored tickets to the TTU/OU game this weekend. His father is a season ticketholder for the sooners and is taking him with. I envy him. I'd love to be there. Spend the money dude. (but in a side note, how did he wind up at UT)
  13. Is this some sort of joke? No. Everyone take a big breath and exhale. Now I want each and everyone of you to say out loud the words I am about to post. say this in a british accent: Leadoff. Is. Not. A. Position.
  14. Gary Danielson said he asked Tebow that on Friday and Tebow said he hasn't thought about it with a grin.
  15. UT's lead is dwindling. They lost nearly .03 points and Florida gained .04 points. .8911 Texas .8755 Florida
  16. Has anyone sat and compiled Percy Harvin's rushing numbers for his career? 176 rushes for 1668 yards and 16 touchdowns. That's 9.5 yards per carry. For comparison some people think Javon Ringer is a top 10 heisman guy for his rushing season this year. He has 353 carries. That's twice as many. He has 120 fewer yards. Yo. FWIW: Florida moved up in the Sagarin BCS poll and is expected to jump two spots to #2 in the colley bcs poll. if they make a one point gain in all the computers (well not in the one that gets dropped i guess) they'll move ahead of Texas to #3 in the BCS.
