  1. He's more than an average passer. He has solid above average arm strength, but you're really shorting him with the accuracy. He has excellent accuracy in the short to middle passing game. He has good accuracy on the deep ball as well. He has enough arm strength to make all the out throws. He's not the best pure passer in the country for the NFL (Stafford), but he's one of the top four or five easily. Couple that with his makeup, running skills and everything else and he's going to be a top two round pick, and for good reason. His delivery isn't ideal, but it's something he can work on. You're really selling him short on the accuracy though. That being said, he's not the best pure passing prospect on his team, but he's the best quarterback prospect. The position is changing and its changing in the NFL slowly and surely. Tebow most certainly does not grade out as having excellent accuracy. That's utterly ridiculous. I'll give you above average arm strength--still a slow delivery. He is not a great pure passing prospect. That would mean if here not mobile/prototypically sized he'd be one of the top prospects. That's obvoiusly not true. His does have excellent accuracy. He's as accurate as any QB in the country, no question. I didn't say he was a great pure passing prospect. How many are great? Just one or two a year tops. The only one in this class is Matt Stafford. Chase Daniels' accuracy and arm strength isn't any better than Tebow's. You can probably put Bradford ahead of Tebow on pure passing and Bomar. Graham Harrell is a no. Colt McCoy has far below average arm strength. I will say that in the SEC that Snead and Brantley will probably develop into better pure passing NFL prospects.
  2. Also, keep in mind given the rain tebows not trying to throw the ball on a line. it'll sell on any QB in this weather.

  4. I think Florida has more kick out of bounds penalties than the rest of college football combined. And I am NOT exaggerating. I will look it up tonight.
  5. Tebows playing this game like the Ole Miss game last year where he had 27 carries. He's got 9 rushes for 67 yards. That's his second highest this season. Now Tebows just showing off his arm strength. I love that inside option shovel pass. Harvins ankle's hurting him again. Damn. Parkers also out with his ankle. Stupid weather.
  6. Agreed. There's plenty of mediocrity in the conference this year. Personally, I think Alabama should fall into that MEH category with the rest of us. They are definitely not as impressive as their record suggests. IMO, Florida is the only standout team. You can really say that for every conference. The Big XII has Oklahoma and Texas. The Pac 10 has USC. The Big Ten has Penn State and maybe and I stretch maybe on Ohio State. The SEC has Florida and perhaps Alabama. The ACC and Big East really do not.
  7. Florida's defense has taken over this game with their backs to the wall. The first possession for the 'Noles started inside the 25 yard line. They gained 4 yards and kicked a field goal. Their fourth possession started inside the 15 yard line. They lost four yards and then kicked a field goal. 14-6 Gators.
  8. True, and the Big XII is turning into that: Baylor's still up on not-so-good-and-still-overranked-texas-tech.
  9. Demps is fast. Very fast.
  10. lol tebow just ran over that guy. lmao.
  11. Janoris Jenkins is a stud. He's going to be a top ten pick at this rate. He might be as good as that old CB out in the Smokies.
  12. I love Brandon Spikes Congrats. Now we need Mizzou to knock off the Sooners.
  13. Imagine Texas Tech or OU playing in this weather...
  14. Tebow made a NFL FB block to spring a run for Harvin for a TD.
  15. Jesus Tebow just slid 8 yards on a dive. Hilarious.
  16. This weather in Tallahassee scares me.
  17. Georgia had tackled relatively well until that last play
  18. i think the auburn alabama game will be decided by a touchdown or less. i think ou is going to cream okie state by three touchdowns or more
  19. i dont wanna see boise crush ball state
  20. I might be missing a few bowl games here and there the last ten years. Either way the point still stands...even if there are ten more bowl games I am missing and the team won both times all ten times.
  21. Dismantling the who played who argument. History of Rematches in College Football 1943 Orange Bowl: LSU vs aTm (Split) 1956 Rose Bowl: Iowa vs Oregon State (Iowa won both) 1959 Sugar Bowl: LSU vs Ole Miss (Split) 1965 Rose Bowl: UCLA vs Michigan State (Split) 1975 Rose Bowl: UCLA vs Ohio State (Split) 1978 Orange Bowl: Nebraska vs Oklahoma (Split) 1982 Rose Bowl: Michigan vs UCLA (UCLA won both) 1987 Rose Bowl: Michigan State vs USC (Michigan State won both) 1994 Sugar Bowl: Florida vs Florida State (Split) 1995 Vegas Bowl: Toledo vs Nevada (Toledo won both) 1996 Sugar Bowl: Florida vs Florida State (Split) 1996 Independence Bowl: LSU vs Notre Dame (Split) 1999 SEC Championship: Florida vs Alabama (Alabama won both) 1999 Big XII Championship: Texas vs Nebraska (Split) 1999 MAC Championship: Marshall vs Western Michigan (Marshall won both) 2000 MAC Championship: Marshall vs Western Michigan (Split) 2000 Big XII Championship: Oklahoma vs Kansas State (Oklahoma won both) 2000 SEC Championship: Florida vs Auburn (Florida won both) 2001 SEC Championship: Tennessee vs LSU (Split) 2002 Big XII Championship: Oklahoma vs Colorado (Oklahoma won both) 2003 MAC Championship: Miami vs Bowling Green (Miami won both) 2003 SEC Championship: LSU vs Georgia (LSU won both) 2004 MAC Championship: Toledo vs Miami (Split) 2004 SEC Championship: Auburn vs Tennessee (Auburn won both) 2005 Big XII Championship: Texas vs Colorado (Texas won both) 2005 MAC Championship: Akron vs Northern Illinois (Akron won both) 2006 CUSA Championship: Houston vs Southern Miss (Split) 2007 ACC Championship: Boston College vs Virginia Tech (Split) 2007 CUSA Championship: UCF vs Tulsa (UCF won both) So through all of division i college football when two teams that played each other before the team that won the first game is 15-14...meaning that the result of the second game is more or less flipping a coin. It's as if the first game doesn't even matter...

  23. I like Teahen. I don't know why. Well I do know why. There's a decent chance that 2006 wasn't an anomaly.
