on the basis that the Sooners are kicking the crap out of a team that Texas did not. That being said, Texas Tech was never the second best team in the country. Just like West Virginia, Boston College, South Florida, Oregon (post Dixon injury) and a half dozen other teams were last season.

This could clinch the Heisman for your boy. Harrell is rattled and I'm not sure I like this call. Really though the defense is why he'd win it. The problem is that Bradford is not really doing all that much. He's playing well, but really the running game has been dominant.

Florida? I should let you know that if Tim Tebow goes. Snead will be the best QB in the conference, with Stafford, JPW and Tebow out. The second best will probably be between Ryan Mallett and John Brantley, two sophomores with very little experience.

I saw Snead is considered a soph, how did he not lose a year last year for his transfer? redshirt. you can redshirt that year if you didnt redshirt one before. emmanuel moody did the same.

True, the QB swap is pretty huge for Bama. And I don't doubt the abilities of Ole Miss, I just think very highly of the returning talent for Alabama. Breaking in a new QB in a defense first, ball control style team can be quite worrisome. So much of Alabama's success on offense this year has not been being stupid and turning the ball over. A new QB is more likely to make rookie mistakes. See Louisiana State.

Alabama's going to be breaking in a new quarterback. They lose Mt Cody. Snead has developed into the third or fourth best qb in the conference. He's a sophomore, will be a junior next year. And since the Florida game (and including it) he has a 13:4 TD:INT ratio and hasn't thrown a pick in three games.

I think it has to do with the speed of the defensive ends. The large splits has allowed them to shoot inside. Texas didn't have mile splits, so that wasn't as easy to do. Also, they had no problem getting pressure on McCoy. The problem was that McCoy would get the ball out of his hands within two seconds on a hot route every time. They weren't disguising their rush packages as well as they have thus far against Tech: or at least Texas Tech hasn't recognized it as quickly as the 'Horns did.

Ole Miss is probably going to enter the 2009 season as the favorites in the SEC West. They are young, equaled Bama head to head and knocked off Florida and LSU. They're a very good football team. They *should* be top 25. They should have been before this week, too. Also, there should be no surprises if Texas Tech continues to get pummeled by the Sooners. This was expected.

Snead's playing out of his mind right now. Ole Miss up 21-3 on LSU.

You know it's a blowout when #93 scores a rushing touchdown. Javier Estopinan put the Gators up 56-6. Estopinan was supposed to be a great defensive lineman, however he's a RS SR who has barely played any thanks to three ACL tears and recoveries. Good story kinda of guy. They let him score a TD. He's up for the Sportsmanship Award

Urban's being a douche now. All the backup and seniors are in, it's 4th and 2 on the 22 yard line. Instead of kicking a field goal, they go for it. Moore rushes for a TD on that play, but c'mon Urban. It's 42-6, don't pull those shenanigans. The Citadel actually threw a TD pass...on a double reverse wide receiver pass. EDIT: To be fair, with under a minute left in the first half, they're rushing the ball from the fifty yard line. Rainey broke a 46 yard run down to the 9. Urban ran out the clock instead of kicking a field goal.

Oh my god Michigan's Defense is terrible. The OSU receiver was like forty yards down field, pryor under threw the pass, and the wideout ran about 10 to 15 yards towards the ball away from the end zone, and still michigans defense was out of whack enough not to get there before the ball. my god Tebow up to 9/11 for 201 yards and 3 TDs. If you think that isn't noteworthy, well it's the first time since the LSU game that he's surpassed 200 yards pashing.

and michigan just got gashed on the first two plays of the second half. a 49 yard rush and a 32 yard rush. Tim Tebow's day won't last long at this rate. Four possessions: 8 for 10 170 yards, 2 TDs and 2 rushes for 34 yards. Florida up 28-0 after four possessions each The problem is that Florida has only three scholarship quarterbacks. One of them, Cameron Newton, was suspended after being arrested this week for stealing a laptop. Apparently he stole a laptop, spray painted it black. The cops came and saw it, wanted to check the serial number of the one reported stolen, and when they went to get the serial number from wherever, Newton threw the laptop out the window. John Brantley is the second stringer, he's going to get a lot of action, I guess

Janoris Jenkins picks off no-name Citadel quarterback. On Senior Day, Kehstan Moore gets the start at HB ahead of the trip fish. Expect Moore to get a good 20-25 carries today. Berry continues to be the Vols best offensive asset. Pick six. 17-0 Vols
