    I think it's a big deal. If you're not blocked by me then it generally means that I *want* to read your posts because I *value* what you say and think you, sometimes, have a better opinion than me. Key word: generally. You're not blocked. Generally because you can't block mods, admins, or yourself, unfortunately. I tried all of the above.

    The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that the Padres have looked into getting Mark DeRosa from the Cubs to give to the Phillies in a Jake Peavy deal. That's an interesting idea. DeRosa would start at second base if Chase Utley misses the start of the year and play left field otherwise. The Cubs can afford to give him up since they have Mike Fontenot to play second base.     thats what i do on january first. man, college football wise 12/31 and 1/1 are consecutive days of great matchups. waiting until the 8th is such a drag though

    The block feature has kinks that need to be worked out. Like if someone quotes someone you blocked, that quote gets blocked too.... Ooh I am good at this one. Now insulting people and getting away with it...well that's different.

    i like the bowl games around christmas because im usually out of town at familys and its a good excuse to do something else for awhile, not that i dont love taking my cousins skating or something.

    im offended that you would take a rob penned post and think it was one of mine. he capitlizes words and uses correct grammar and spelling as well as punctuations correctly. i hardly ever look at who im responding to. i figure if theyre not blocked theyre alright. however when i read someones post i blocked, well then i know

    nope, just used ones and other ones. they do matter more than most sabermetricians think. though the reason is leverage more than anything else. for instance, putting two lefties in a row increases the probability that in high leverage situations you see situational loogys in for two lefties, instead of one, those particular runs are high leverage and mean quite a bit.
