  1. Boo the closest theater is down on I-10. I guess I'll have to stick to HD for the BCS National Championship Blow Out
  2. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/football/ncaa/12/16/3-d.ap/index.html im so finding one of these theaters in houston
  3. I edited in. Washington was down to like their 100th quarterback at one point this year. They lose Jake Locker, who is probably one of the top dozen or so college quarterbacks in the country. He's certainly one of the most valuable and was growing into a stud this season. Washington losing Locker would be like Florida losing Tebow last season. I mean Locker nearly ran for a thousand yards last season. His passing stunk, but he was a freshman thrown to the wolves. Rapid development his next season was only expected. He's tremendously gifted. They almost knocked off BYU with him at the beginning of this season. Until he threw the ball in the air and got flagged, god that was a joke call seriously. When he went down the offense evaporated. He'll get another year of development under a Sarkisian, whose specialty is quarterbacks. We're going to see quite a different Washington offense next year. They'll be able to put points on the board with every one in the conference, outside of USC. Sarkisian and Locker will mean that much. The defense could be poor and they'd still win a fair share of games. If the defense improves significantly, a huge turnaround the first year wouldn't be a shocker. But they look real good for 2010, well better two year outlook than any 0 fer team in history. The pieces are in place at Washington. I think they go 7-6 or 8-5 next season. I think they go 9-4 or 10-3 in 2010 and get back in the top 25, provided Locker doesn't blow up or leave early. Washington's going to be tested early though next year, with a tough nonconference slate.
  4. U-Dub's going to be pretty good next year. They're going to go bowling and will probably finish in the top half of the Pac 10. They weren't good few years before this year, but they weren't classic Hoosier. I think they go 7-6 or 8-5 next year. I really do.
  5. I wonder if our organization has a clue sometimes.
  6. The boosters werent content with Tuberville making the program one of the top 10 to 15 programs in the country while he was there. They're going to be churning through about four or five coaches the next decade until they can fine a legitimate one. They've already screwed themselves for the next three or four years.
  7. The Texas Tech vs Boise State game was another blow out. Crab just went off against the Broncos. Crabtree caught touchdown passes early and often in this game. Graham Harrell and Michael Crabtree hooked up 13 times for 202 yards and 4 touchdowns. Harrell finished the game 39 of 52 for 480 yards, 5 TDs but 4 INTs. That's too many INTs, again. He had four and Kellen had 2 himself. The Red Raiders rolled up 551 yards of total offense on 69 plays. Boise rolled up 312 on 54 plays, I guess that was fairly accurate. I still need to get the picks down for more accuracy. The final score ended 59-21 Red Raiders in a blowout. Next up is Mizzou vs Penn State. Mizzou some how has a 94 overall offense. I have my doubts...
  8. My computer polls have them in the top sixteen. Guess which is more accurate mine or the BCS's? Guess which is more accurate, mine or the Sagarin predictor.
  9. Because they really are not worse than 16 teams?
  10. I've already let the Florida at Florida State game go by. I accidently did it at Florida State in the Dynasty schedule where I had the first half of the first round set up. I did this so I could accurate set representations of how often that they run and pass and so on. For instance, originally I think Florida is a 55 pass 45 run team in the game on tendencies. I switched that to 65 run and 35 pass. Anyways, Florida at Florida State. It was a big game for the Florida secondary. They picked off Seminole quarterback Christian Ponder 4 times, returning one in the first quarter by Joe Haden for a touchdown. That started out the scoring for the Gators. Florida State was able to tie the score 7-7 in the second quarter thanks to a Tim Tebow interception and a four yard touchdown run. The score was tied at 7 at the break, but then Florida ran away with the game. Tebow threw a 30 yard touchdown pass to Carl Moore and then the Gators hit a 50 yard field goal. But Tim Tebow was knocked out of the game on a scramble in the third quarter. Backup John Brantley finished out the game, mainly handing the ball off to Percy Harvin, Chris Rainey and Jeff Demps. Florida added another field goal before Percy Harvin took a handoff 92 yards to seal the game 27-7 late in the fourth quarter. Tim Tebow did not have a great game. He went 12 of 21 for 120 yards, 1 TD and 2 interceptions. He ran the ball 7 times for 23 yards. Demps had five runs for just 15 yards, and Harvin had four runs for 102 yards. Florida only ran 43 offensive plays, so I need to bump up the time of game from five minute quarters. Florida State ran just 49. Most games tend to run 60-80 plays per team, so for the next game I will bump it up to 7 minutes and see how much action it is. Really the rushing games for both teams were ineffective, save one big outburst late from Harvin. I may have to play with the sliders later on or take the game off of Heisman to All-American. Next Game on Tap: Boise State vs Texas Tech. The game has Boise rated as a B-/B/B- team and Tech as a B+/A-/B team.
  11. I've decided to create a playoff and let NCAA Football 2009 sim it for us, while letting the games actually play out, not letting the sim engine in NCAA do it. The seedings are my own ranking system from the first page (more on this coming soon). The first round matchups are as follows, and the home field advantage goes to the higher seeded team with the exception of the FSU, UF game because I am [expletive]: And, another thing to ask of you guys. If there are some big time contributers for one of the teams mentioned that's not accurately portrayed in the original NCAA rosters, let me know and I will try to fix them. I did some fixes with the Gators and Longhorns. I made McCoy a 99 accuracy guy. I brought Demps up to about an 84 overall back and made Janoris Jenkins a quality cover corner. I did make Mt Cody a force to be reckoned with awhile ago. Also any differences on the depth chart than from what are originally in the game would be helpful as well. Again I could do this with Texas and Florida.
  12. Hey, Erik Ainge was a political science major at UT. Krenzel was what again? Molecular engineering or something like that.
  13. Unfortunately the students learn nothing while in school. Did you guys notice what Tim Tebow was majoring in?
  14. Oh my LOL They've probably got a better shot at knocking off the Longhorns than the Nittany Lions do have knocking off the Trojans.
  15. Um, you said Bradford was the runaway Heisman. I'm pretty sure he didn't "runaway" with it. Personally, I thought Bradford would win in and probably McCoy should have won it. What's funny is if Tebow's place kicker hits a extra point in September, he would have run away with the Heisman. If McCoy's secondary picks off a pass that hits them in the hands and stops Tech from scoring with five seconds left, McCoy would have ran away with the Heisman. You can make the argument that both McCoy and Tebow lost the Heisman because of someone else on their team.
  16. Upon even further review, we're talking about student athletes, and last week and this upcoming week are finals for most colleges in America.
  17. Don't count out the Bucks yet. I really am expecting a poor bowl season for the Big 12.
  18. They probably did, and Tebow probably was third on those ballots, and probably got the most first place votes.
  19. that guy yelling boomer should die.
  20. beating oklahoma?
  21. leaked: Bradford, Tebow and McCoy in order.

If you are interested in any programs rank any of the five years, just ask. I'll add a few more season soon. Technically, I can do any season since 18something. I found a site with scores for every game since then.
  24. the yankees payroll could be over $300m and they'd still be profiting. personally, i've got no problem with huge contracts to players. it's not driving up ticket prices. all it is doing is taking money from the pockets of the owners to the pockets of the players.
