    Meh, just stay away from Vitters. I'd prefer Heyward amongst the HS hitters. He gives the tie to the LH hitter? lmao. good reasoning. why not use shoe size next time. That's a pretty lame reasoning, IMO. Heyward and Moustakas would be fine picks at 3 though. Let's look at it this way. Vitters Moustakas x Pure Hitting x Power x Side (L/R) x Arm x Hands x Speed x Defensive Aptitude Even if their bats are tied (and they're not) you have to then take the best overall defensive player which is Moustakas hands down. Moustakas might even make the transition behind the dish where his 80 arm (clocked at 97) plays better, whereas Vitters will likely wind up in left field where his Matt Murton skills don't play that well.

    Weren't you big on Antonelli before? Did you cool on him or did White just grow on you more? Im an Antonelli guy. White's no different than, say, hiring Tim Wilken as our GM. I'd hire Ng before white. Who's Antonelli? gah wrong surname. Im thinking of Chris Antonetti and did the name of Padres prospect, Matt Antonelli. My mistake.

    Hell no. He's like Freddy Bynum but with less power, if you can imagine that. He's a defensive replacement outfielder, at best. Put him with an organization like ours and he's Juan Pierre starting when he should be Kerry Robinson. /rant

    Leadoff hitting is not a position. He's a hitter. He's the third best hitter on the team and that makes him the second best choice for hitting lead off on the team.

    and JJ Hardy is on pace for 50 HR, 146 RBI and 110 R but oh, wait, R and RBI are meaningless, so you'll probably just ignore that (even though you sited the meaningless stats yourself) I only cited "meaningless" stats because that's all you want to use. no no, you're right, the guy with 50 fewer RBI is more valuable because he gets on base one more time per week extrapolating two months to a full season is [expletive].

    Upton has also struck out in 34% of his plate appearances, which is why I sold high on him -- or at least got guys I wanted instead -- in my leagues with him.
