    its just a byproduct of the two team from one conference rule and the fact they added a game on top of it. kinda dumb. However, I do think, if the Fiesta has a choice between USC and Illinois, who are the going to take? USC more than likely. USC will be eligible and that scenario does not have two Pac 10 teams in BCS games. the only rulings are: If UGA gets to the SEC-C and UGA doesn't beat LSU they'll fall in the polls and they may not be ranked higher than Florida after that game. It'd be close. Keep in mind UGA is not in line for the SEC-C. It's Tennessee right now.

    It isn't. The winner (Mizzou) is losing to OU. It's really just a game to decide who plays in the Holiday Bowl (we both know the Cotton bowl is taking Texas and OU is getting the only BCS berth if they beat a 1 loss Mizzou) If we've learned anything, it's that OU is much better at home than elsewhere, and Mizzou gave them all they can handle in Norman. We'll agree to disagree so we both can concentrate on more important things at hand: How unproven Kansas is. LOL 101st schedule!! man i swear when they lose this game AND get a BCS berth they will be the most unqualified BCS team in the long sad history of unqualified qualified notre dame and others BCS teams. There will plenty of time for us to discuss Mizzou vs OU Version 2.0 come next week

    I once drove through Kansas. It was a whole lot of nothing. I've driven through Missouri a couple of times, and well it's much of the same. You'll find that's true of the majority of our states. This is true. But I stayed over in Wichita. That place was the quintessential ghetto. It's no wonder that Ben Christenson was as messed up as he was.

    This thread is clearly labeled, take your 3 losses somewhere else. The funny thing is Florida will probably end up with the same amount of losses as Mizzou or Oklahoma. Anyways, this says SMACK TALK thread. Why can't you talk smack about both teams!?

Now, I'm not in the mood to defend OSU but they are a good team. Eh, I meant exactly as in exactly.....i dont hate the big ten, i just dont think its very good this year. as for OSU. Ive got my doubts on whether theyd finish with less than 4 losses running through say, Floridas schedule. well since they are a superior team to florida they would probably lose less games than florida did. Right...06 OSU lost more than 06 Florida...and 07 Florida had 3 Ls...

    Didn't you say last week you fully expected Florida to destroy the Illini? no, i said i would fully expect Florida to destroy Penn State, but that matchup isn't happening unless Florida loses again Ahh, that is correct. Florida would beat Illinois three fourth of the time. If the Illini beat the gators in a close game it wouldnt prove the Illini were better than the Gators. The converse is also true.

(oh yeah he has) The big ten bias on this board is absurd go figure, this not being an atlanta braves board or anything. and you're lyin again about meyer vs. zook recruiting. No, no he hasn't. First three years at Florida - Zooker: 2002 - 20* 2003 - 2 2004 - 7 First three years at Florida - Meyer 2005 - 15* 2006 - 2 2007 - 1 * Hired in middle of recruiting season I ain't lying about anything....Meyer has done a better job at getting talent on the campus than Zook.

(oh yeah he has) The big ten bias on this board is absurd Illinois number 15 on scout Florida number 18 on scout and that was before we got the 4 star TE today. The Gators don't have that many scholarships to hand out. Their football team is the youngest (or second youngest) in the nation and just about every contributor is a soph or freshman. They cant have a top class this year because they're not recruiting in masses. The Gators only have 10 commits. They have more four and five star commits than the Illini. The Illini are ranked higher on Rivals bc they have 7 more 3 star recruits, the Gators simply dont have room to add 25 guys this year. Florida was #1 or #2 depending on the site for Meyers first two recruiting classes. LSU is more efficient at running the ball, thus they have a better run offense. And by efficiency i mean by comparing their running success against the specific defenses they played against. The Illini will struggle to keep up with the Gators offensively. They'll win the clock battle but they won't win the point battle...

    im not saying illinois cant beat florida. im saying it isnt likely and that florida is a better team. if youre even attempting to argue illinois is better....then wow.
