According to the Trib, Prior will throw a bullpen session Tuesday at Wrigley since he'll be in town over that bogus autograph appearance lawsuit from a couple of years ago. David van Dyck believes that puts him about a week behind Wood, meaning early-to-mid May. That's a little too early, in my opinion. I think it will be mid-to-late May if there are no setbacks. But he hasn't really done enough yet to get a real good sense. Wood will throw batting practice on Monday and hopefully pitch a simulated game after that. Wade Miller is up to 50 pitches off the mound and is still about 10 days behind Kerry.

The other matchups for the series: Wednesday - Claussen vs. Maddux Thursday - Milton vs. Zambrano Expect Hairston to start at least one of those. The temperatures should be in the mid or upper 60s the entire series, but there's a chance of rain on Wednesday. Always subject to change, of course. -
