  1. Not a good way to close out the first quarter.
  2. Should be a good opportunity to head down to Wrigley once the game starts and either get decent seats from the Cubs and move into better ones or get some deals from the brokers. Sadly, I have work to do...
  3. http://www.weather.com/maps/maptype/currentweatherusnational/usdopplerradar_large_animated.html I'm sure the field and warning track already has quite a few puddles. The forecasts for Monday night and Tuesday don't look too great, either.
  4. Woo. There goes Cofield. Congrats. Hate the Giants, though. And Angelo is bad.
  5. Weather.com calls for 90% chance of rain through the game with a 20 mph wind blowing from right to left. The radar will automatically update: http://image.weather.com/web/radar/us_ord_closeradar_medium_usen.jpg (expect lots of green) I can only hope that Monday night isn't going to be washed out, as well. That would not be good.
  6. Certainly the stupidest thing I've heard today.
  7. Offense? What offense?
  8. Again...awful.
  9. Probably hasn't been said in a while, but I don't think one can understate just how horrible these ESPN NFL draft promos are.
  10. Devin Hester!?!
  11. Yes. Pope, please.
  12. All I got out of the press conference was that they wanted him for his speed and his return ability. He originally committed to Nebraska but didn't meet their academic requirements.
  13. ESPN didn't mention the trade once before the pick was announced.
  14. It would be nice if ESPN actually reported on the draft.
  15. It'll start raining once Rothschild gets Ohman up in the 'pen.
  16. Another ER for Rusch. Think we can move the game 100 miles SW?
  17. The rain is intentionally staying away from Chicago now. Not funny.
  18. Actually, we might have to sacrifice this game for our 'pen. It's too early and with no off days on the horizon, he can't come out yet. Tomorrow should be a day off and Ohman hasn't pitched since August of 2005.
  19. Don't hold your breath: http://www.weather.com/weather/map/60201?name=index_large_animated&day=1
  20. So that's three baserunners Angel has cost the Cubs so far. He probably told the rain to stay away, too.
