  1. Beautiful pitch. And NU gets a HUGE DP at the same time.
  2. Was that his change? I haven't gotten used to this camera angle yet.
  3. First strike at 95 mph. Then an 89 mph sinker of sorts for the groundout.
  4. That was a pretty unimpressive inning. They may need to get Foster up soon. Runs, please. I'm rooting for NU, but I don't really have anything to watch tonight, and I would love to watch them play again later, haha. You can watch the Tennessee and ASU. I want a perfect record! Ugh. Come on, Walker.
  5. That was a pretty unimpressive inning. They may need to get Foster up soon. Runs, please.
  6. Jones needs to do what Dotson just did! Work the count and crush one to right!
  7. The Cubs have been demoted to the radio.
  8. Is Pierre paying attention to the game? Is there a reason he's swinging on the first pitch after Maddux just batted?
  9. It's a fastball count and the throw beat Pierre by a wide margin (wouldn't have been close if it was a good throw). You have to make the pitcher throw a strike before you go.
  10. ESPN ran a piece during SportsCenter on European racism and the World Cup. They could've covered more instances, but it was pretty well done, in my opinion. Still, can't wait for June 12.
  11. Thanks. His head is too big and body too small, but it works.
  12. I was thinking that too. I mean, they better be pretty sure he's up for it. This is not a big game for the Cardinals. So what if the Cubs get within 10.5 games. They need to be looking at the big picture (unlike the Cubs). It's a big gamble, IMO. Yeah, it really shouldn't mean that much to them. Houston is 2 games under .500. If I were them, I'd DL Edmonds and let that heal up 100%. His injury is definitely something that could get aggrevated by playing first base.
  13. When would the retroactive date for Edmonds have been? It's a bit of a risky move by TLR and the Cardinals, in my opinion. If he hurts it even more, St. Louis would be in terrible shape.
  14. Fleita said he sees Marmol as a future closer, but who knows if they've started to change their minds a bit.
  15. Guzman's night is done after the two out error on Fontenot allowed a run to score. Williams is in. Angel is on the hook for two more, but they'd be unearned runs if they scored. 6.2 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 4 K, 2 WP, 99 pitches - 56 strikes He was in trouble all game long and probably didn't have his best stuff. Still effective, though.
  16. Guzman so far: 6 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 2 BB. 4 K, 83 ptiches - 47 strikes 1 run isn't bad consider that the leadoff man has reached for Oklahoma 4 times in 6 innings.
  17. There's a thread on the Pujols injury in rivalries: Premium Non-Premium
