  1. it is. If they both top or finish second in their groups, they'll end up on different sides of the elimination bracket. The tournament's actually blatantly stacked to make them meet in the finals. Ok, good. I started getting confused in the quarterfinals when they began transposing some of the letters and numbers. The presale runs through Wednesday, I believe, so I'll let you know if I find a password.
  2. Looking at the groupings gives me a headache. Is it possible for the US to meet Mexico in the final?
  3. Yeah, 10 AM. Well, doesn't look like that's the case. Ticketmaster.com does list the 400 section. But the seating chart released by the Fire had the 400 section grayed out. This is the seating chart the Fire released for the presale. I believe only the lower level is being sold for the presale, but they have the upper levels grayed out. Either way, though, I'd only be going for $30. If 400 isn't available, I'll settle for endzone.
  4. I've looked, but nobody has posted it. Only the one for Houston. I'm probably going to wait until after the semi-finals to purchase. I'd be looking for $30 seats, anyways, and I'm still not sure I can go. By the way, the semi-final is a double header of games at 6 PM and 9 PM. It appears to be the same price range. Not a bad value. I may be wrong here, but it's my estimation that the finals will sell out before the semis are played. Well, I originally read it may top 50,000+, but I just re-checked and noticed that the entire 400 level and 300 levels in the endzones will be closed. Guess I better buy Thursday, then.

  7. LA's sponsorship deal doesn't look so hot: http://online.wsj.com/public/resources/images/MK-AJ116_SOCCER_20070322201636.jpg The deal is through 2011 and worth roughly $20 million, give or take a few million, though. Gold Cup tickets go on sale Thursday morning.
  8. Georgetown can certainly take Ohio State and I sure hope they do.
  9. What a turnaround.
  10. Oooh. Georgetown stepped out of bounds on that rebound.
  11. The most obvious difference is that Rose wasn't stupid enough to talk about it on a blog on the league's website. Other than that, though, I'd imagine the only significant difference is the amount of money on the bets. That and Rose's bets were about the outcome and not individual plays.
  12. They should reset the clock to 2.0 or 2.1.
  13. Wow.
  14. Sounded like he drove, stopped, and hit a fall away jumper that bounced around and in. Could've just been a fall away floater, but he was definitely off-balance.
  15. Ben Gordon does it again! Bulls win 92-90.
  16. The Bulls' lead is down to 87-85 with 2 minutes left. Tyrus Thomas' game winner against Denver:
  17. The Bulls trail 52-50 at the half. Stupid ABC.

    Speed Limit

3-7 mph over on streets and 70-75 if possible on the interstate.
  19. UCLA still doesn't believe that Kansas has the ability to strip the ball, apparently. And I don't get why UCLA would pass up wide open layups. On the last one, if Collison got rid of the ball, they would've gotten the easy 2 and burned more time doing it.
  20. Oh my goodness. I think a brawl could break out and the refs would let them play.
  21. I'm not sure the refs are paying attention when the ball goes out of bounds despite being well-positioned.
  22. Yikes. This officiating is ludicrous.
  23. Kansas does seem to be getting away with an awful lot so far.
  24. How can Collison get shoved down like that under the basket?
