  2. Someone give Landry a yellow for that flop.

  4. Bears ticket prices going up:
  5. Lovie will finish his remaining contract but receive a $2 million signing bonus. He then gets $20 million over the following 4 seasons.
  6. Solid win. Plus it was nice seeing Thabo and Tyrus that much down the stretch.
  7. I wish I had a dollar for every time I've heard "Bulls" and "blew a 15 point lead" in the same sentence.
  8. This team would be NIT bound if Moore hadn't disappeared this season. Heck, he couldn't even hold on to his starting job.
  9. Sweet. Great timing, too.
  10. Doyle better show up in the second half.
  11. I've heard of people buying too many, and it didn't come out until ticket printing time that they'd gotten their purchases canceled. So I think you'll have to hang in for several more weeks to see if you're off the hook or not. Yeah, pretty much all you can do is wait right now. My brother accidentally got 6 bleacher tickets for the same game twice (never got the first confirmation page). I spoke with a tickets.com rep and they said it was up to the Cubs ticket office as to which orders they cancel and which they let through. This week, they start going through every order placed and make their decisions. I also emailed the Cubs ticket office and they replied back by saying Tickets.com would automatically cancel the second order, but I don't think that's right. His credit card was also charged for both orders, by the way. I think there's a 50% chance that he'll get to keep all 12 tickets, but regardless, all you can do right now is wait and see what they do come March 13th.
  12. I put "make an offer of at least 150 bucks per pair" in my posting on craigslist and didn't have the problem that you're having. Maybe try editing your ad to include something like that. i did that just a minute ago...we'll see what happens...i also replied to all the emails i've already received asking them to make a strong offer...one person actually made an offer of 150 but i think i can do better...i countered with 200, heh...hopefully they go for it. Especially if they're going to pick it up, you really shouldn't sell for much less than $200 for a pair to the Saturday White Sox game.
  13. I like teams more when they give a crap about boxing out.
  14. Is that show taking over the 30 Rock timeslot? I voted thursday, but Heroes alone makes monday a close second. If the Black Donnellys is good that might change things. 8:30 PM central, at least for the first episode. Rather than starting a new thread, has anyone seen Rob Corddry's new show The Winner? The first four episodes are up on Fox.com. It starts out with a pretty annoying laugh track, but it's not that bad of a show. Quite raunchy, though. Of course, I'd never actually watch if it not for Corddry.
  15. Thursday night NBC is the only primetime TV I watch. I can't wait for Andy Barker PI to join the Office and Scrubs.
  16. I want to see the brawl now that I've read several articles that openly mocked it.
  17. I disagree. I sold a total of 16 bleacher seats for at least double the price I paid on every one of them. Through where? For which games, though? Unless it's the Saturday White Sox or Saturday Cards game in August, you can't really get double if you're including the tickets.com fees (about $47 per ticket). Heck, you can get a pair of bleacher tickets to the Friday or Sunday night Cards game on eBay for just over $100. Even after shipping, that's not much more than what you'd pay if you got them through tickets.com. And stubhub.com is saturated with bleacher tickets.
  18. It's only February, though. Not only have we not seen him make any game decisions yet, he hasn't made any decisions period. The quotes are fine, but it doesn't really effect how he's going to be as a manager. It's going to be quite a while before I can start to form any opinion on what kind of job he's going to do.
  19. Looks like a great secondary market for anyone looking to buy. Quite bad if you're looking to sell, especially bleacher tickets.
  20. Well this blows. Horrible choke job.
  21. PJ Brown isn't allowed to get offensive rebounds, but Weber can get away with anything, apparently.
  22. These offensive rebounds are ridiculous.
  23. Note to PJ: When you have the ball under the basket all alone, how about you just dunk it next time instead of trying to draw a foul with no chance of making the shot?
