Is anybody else disgusted by looking at Belliard at the plate? He licks his lips, sticks out his tongue as if licking something obscene, and just generally looks like a slimy snake. It makes me want to puke.

Wow. Only the Cubs can routinely pull something like this off. What makes me even more angry is the fact that we caught Lieber when he was not at his best, and we just couldn't get the clutch hits. Figures. On the day when both Ramirez and Jones go 4-5, they are sandwiched by 1-5 performances by our no. 2 and no. 5 hitters.

Fred's numbers disagree with yours. What is your source? The difference is that Fred's numbers were from June the 10th, while texas's numbers were only post all star break. Of course those numbers have changed by now, but the day he posted them they were correct. For some reason, I thought the All Star break was on June 10th. His numbers are actually better now. Post All Star break: .348/.410/.732/1.142 WOW, those numbers are Ruthian! He is red hot at the plate right now.
