    I was hoping for Hendry to come out and say he had some breaking news of signing Jason Schmibt or some other pitcher..... Hopefully that comes within the next week..

    I don't see how you can defend such a claim. Gonzo had as good a defensive reputation as Izturis has. And he wasn't as damaged physically as Izturis is. Cesar is no wonderboy out there. SS is one of the most important defensive positions out there and Izturis is one of the top SS in the game...If hes batting 8th im willing to live with that..It just means we need better production out of our other positions..

    I think our infield is set for '07, Hendry has said recently, he " LOVES " our infield, and praised Izturis for his gold glove.They have always said he's be their SS of the future..Face it guys..Izzy isn't going anywhere unfortuantley...

    Thats like sayin, for the hell of it, Jason Bay somehow was batting .350 hit 60 HR's 160 RBI's He dosent deserve to get MVP just because He plays for the crappy Pirates but Albert could bat .300 53 HR's and 145 RBI's. but mr pujols should get it because the Cards make the playoffs.. Come on Albert,Cry me a freakin river.

    What a bunch of crap....One player alone cannot take a team to the playoffs..What about pitching,bullpen and all the others batting around him?? Hes just bitter because he didn't get it..

    What does that even mean? Bill Gates entered into a industry where he does not belong...Hes a computer guy..He has no buisness entering a industry that is run by the Japanese..There should only be Nintendo and Sony..The first XBox,complete failure,Looked like a VCR,Ugly controller,pretty poor game selection except for Halo and a few others...Its pretty much like cars to sum it up...Toyota,Honda,Mitsubishi,Are the top cars on the market,all Japanese, because they last forever,break down half as much as an american car..Then you got Gates.who is like, General Motors,producing crap that cant even compare..Bottom line, Japanese are better than us with cars and electronics..We can try, but well never overtake them,the guy is should stick to making PC's and stuff he knows, not something the japanese are masters of

    Rainbow Six and GOW make the 360 so damn tempting tho... It depends what kind of games your into though...The games you just said, I an tell your more into action and stealth games..Ive always been into Metal Gear Solid,Meal of Honor,Resident Evil etc. which only Playstation and XBox can provide...Nintendo isnt really known for those types...I got interested in the Wii because ,for example, in baseball games,you can use the controller like a real bat and and swing,same thing for bowling and thier other sport games...Also the only system you can play Zelda.... Its up to you man, if your into darker and more adventure games go with the Xbox,Wii if your more into sports,and tons of other games

    Screw Bill Gates and screw XBox..He shouldve never entered the japanese market where he dosent belong...Eventhough Im playstation for life..Id buy an Nintendo product anyday over xbox...Plus Wii is rated number one right now over both..only 250.00 and a better lineup of games...

    Schimdt in the last 3 years has a 1.57 ERA at Wrigley...Hes a high fast ball pitcher,which is not good at wrigley on a hot day..But, damn he owns us..Hopefully if he signed with us he could do the same to everyone else

    It's Bruce Miles, and all the other sites got their information from the San Fransisco Chronicle. They probably got their info from Schmidt's agent, which Bruce said was probably a false rumor that the agent thought up. I doubt that SI.com and ESPN would have it as such big news if there was only a blurb about it in the San Francisco Chronicle.     Hmm so we have like 10 different places saying the Cubs offered Schmidt the 3 year deal, then Bruce Levine says we never did...Were do these other places get that news from? Pretty big since its a headline on SI.com and on rotoworld.com

    Why cant Schimdt jsut sign and we trade for Westbrook. Then were done with the pitching controversy and our rotation looks awsome..All were left with is the CF problem

    Nooo. Lugo Bad for going to Red Sox. Were we ever serious contenders for Lugo or was that all just rumor? I thought I remember hearing or reading that Piniella really wanted him, but I'm not really sure. I think it was last week,chicagosports.com said the cubs talked to him and he was willing to play CF if he came to chicago... His bat plays way, way better at SS than it does in CF. If he's getting signed, it had better be to play SS. Put Soriano in CF and hope it works out. The plan was to put him in CF until Pie was ready..Then move him to SS

    Todays Rumor..On SFgate.com All has been quiet on Jason Schmidt's potential return to San Francisco, and this might be why: According to one source, the Cubs have offered Schmidt a three-year deal worth $44 million Ohhh ya ,that put a smile on my face...Hope to God its true...If we sign Schimdt Its freakin party time

    I agree...Atleast we know there is no way in hell we can be as bad as last season...Im a surprised with all Hendry has done so far, and its only a day after thanksgiving..There will be plenty more to come,especially around the winter meetings...Only if Jason Schmidt accepts the 3 year/45 mil contract Hendry offered him...Id prolly cry then I dont know what..
