  1. Gun to your head, Blanco or Kendall...who do you choose? Blanco had that ridiculous June (Or was it July) last year. I'll always smile when I think about it.
  2. HOLY SH<< crow never tasted so delicious What's funny is I was just writing I agree Kendall sucks! I had to back space rather quickly... Nah, he still sucks. Like Jacque, the sun has to shine on a dog's ass at least once in a while. I prefer the Blind Squirrel -> Nut euphemism.
  3. Theres something amusing about having 2 of possibly the worst hitters in the major leagues back to back.
  4. Jock Jones trying as hard as possible to ground out. EDIT: THank you Jesus You struck out.
  5. Under no circumstances shall I consider him anything but a well below average hitter. he is well below average this year, lets not make him out to be neifi What year matters other than this year?
  6. Under no circumstances shall I consider him anything but a well below average hitter.
  7. What moves would have helped that inning. Lee didn't come through. Or Ramirez either. Having 5 hitters in the lineup that are really really bad?
  8. I'm really dissapointed with this Cubs offense. Its completely punchless.
  9. Its a nice thing all the stats disagree with you and we are actually still underperforming our talent by a couple games. BTW, those super talented Brewers you are so afraid of: still overpeforming slightly.
  10. I'm still dismissing the Cardinals.
  11. Wins are harder to get? Yeah, I guess, but being in first place in the lost column is being in first place in the only thing that matters. yes, wins are are always harder to get...duh! and being in first in the loss column is nothing if you got more games to play(more chances to lose) The reason that leading in losses matters more than Wins is because if you lead in Losses you have complete and total control of your own destiny. It is always possible to make up Wins, its impossible to make up Losses. You have to depend on the other team to lose for you. Of course with 50+ games to go, it doesn't matter.
  12. It's a stark difference from Briggs huh? He's not really in the position Briggs was in to hold out anyway.
  13. Bleh. Lead off doubles for other teams always means runs, for us, none. Expect this game to be tied or worse.
  14. Well Jacque gave me a lot better contact than I would have expected, but the same result. Lame inning, Cubs. Way to play to my expectations.
  15. Thats because Kendall leaned into it, and our announcers aren't huge homers like the Sox ones.
  16. Come on, Kendall, just get a pitch through the infield. We know you can barely get one to the outfield anyway. EDIT: Bleh.
  17. Jason Kendall is HORRIBLE. Maybe the more I insult him the more he'll try to prove me wrong.
  18. God Damnit, Freel. You are so [expletive] evil.
  19. I have absolutely no confidence in Jacque Jones and Jason Kendall in bringing DeRosa home. So basically Mark is just padding his stats. :?
  20. When was the last time DeRosa hit a home run?
