I'm not sure who was the worse QB on the field, Juice or Anthony Morelli. Fortunately for Illinois, they figured they should just run the ball all of the second half, and Penn State just kept passing.

Just got back from the Illinois game, WOOO WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. Helluva game, our defense definitely came up and got away with some poor plays with some great picks. Our offense pretty much disappeared in the second half, but [expletive] I'm so excited for Arrelious Benn, great Td reception where he somehow got away from 4 players and a wonderful kick return. Our special teams was dissapointing in that we couldn't come up with a good punt all game. How hard is it to punt the ball >30 yards? It could have cost us the game. Wow, what a game, amazing to see the players run into the stands, I really wanted to storm the field but there were cops all over teh stands.

As great as Z has been the last few starts, this is against the Pirates and the punchless Reds. I'm not saying its been great that he's come up against teams he should shut out, but we're gonna need as good an effort against teams with really effective lineups top to bottom.

If we had an SS with greater range, they wouldn't get through the infield. As bad as the Riot has been for over a month, he really should be on the bench. There is no SS in our organization with great range really anyway.

Someone said in the gamethread that even if the sign for "take" was shown all the way, Jacque couldn't resist the urge to flail helplessly at pitches. I really would love to have anybody else out there. Even a Felix Pie who isn't ready yet, he strikes out, don't get me wrong, be he also has some idea of what approach is.
