  1. Its not gonna matter much if the Brew Crew drops 3 of 4 or something to the Braves and we open up a multiple game lead.
  2. Ron Santo calls every game like its the last he'll ever see. And I wouldn't want it any other way. This has been a fun season, after all.
  3. They'd be 2 back in the loss column, and pretty well boned considering they have no off days and how strong their schedule is. I just don't see them losing to that completely destroyed Cardinals lineup though.
  4. God, Brad Lidge is the reason why there is a swear filter.
  5. The way you guys were calling it, I thought for sure that Hopper hit a home run. That was pretty ridiculous.
  6. LOL THis is like that one game where we got the lead off man every single inning and couldn't score. Oh wait, thats been every game so far.
  7. Mark DeRosa and Daryle Ward say hello.
  8. I believe our Alex Gonzalez is out of baseball.
  9. Cliff Floyd 4th? Eh not so much. Either way, we'll see what the meat of our order can do. A nice 5-6 run inning would be beautiful.
  10. Even Ted Williams made outs Only like half the time. Ted Williams was probably the best player ever at not making outs. well considering that he has the best OBP of all-time, I'd say he's definitely the best player ever at not making outs. Ted Williams is my hero.
  11. I don't think I get anything. Its fine, I'm more spoiled then everyone here, I've seen nearly every single game this year.
  12. Theriot has been terrible for a while, unfortunately we have absolutely no one else to play SS. WE DONT HAVE TO BAT HIM 2ND EVERY DAY THOUGH
  13. Soto should start every game and bat like 2nd.
  14. Even Ted Williams made outs Only like half the time. Ted Williams was probably the best player ever at not making outs.
  15. Brewers have a man in scoring positon with 2 outs. Odds they score: Damn near 80%
  16. That's rational. I've said it before and I'll probably say it again, Jacque Jones is one of the dumbest MLB players in the league. He makes some of the most boneheaded mistakes, at the plate and in the field. (not to mention the basepaths when he somehow ends up on base) Screw you Jacque Jones. I never liked you, not even whe you were "hot". (You made the same contact as ever and your lame groundballs found holes. Congrats, you still suck)
  17. you're not missing much I figured as much.
  18. I can't find WCIU in the U of I dorms.
  19. Can we please win one game in which we score first? The Cubs make that look as hard as anything else.
  20. I've always kinda had a soft spot in my heart for the Brewers (Not their fan base of course), they always seemed like even harder luck losers than the Cubs, and no one watched them. Their fans are a bunch of annoying whiners, and to top it off, most of them are Packers fans too. (Nothing against you Cubs fans that also root for the Packers, but thats a deadly combination right there) Their team this year pisses me off. But boy do I love those throwback uniforms. I wouldn't be terribly upset if they won the World Series, not nearly as much as those damned Redbirds. Not me. I seriously hate every single one of our opponents in the Central. No soft spot here... How long have the Brewers even been a division rival? If anything, Sox fans should dislike them more than anyone else.
  21. I saw him every so often in the dining halls last year. I think my roommate is in a class with Arrelious Benn, but I'm not sure.

  23. Essentially? No, all the way At least he wasn't a complete negative like Floyd coming out from the bench to hit into a clutch double play. your right, the way floyd has been hitting he should have started. why murton was in the lineup boggles me Murton looked like a little kid out there, though. I don't know whats happened to his mental toughness, he gets a strike out and then looks like a fool the rest of the time.
