    The only thing that lessens the pain of being a Cubs fan is watching the trainwreck of the Mets season. Every thing they do compounds the problems they already have. Francouer has been on downward spiral for his career the last two years, and despite his youth he has never on based even the league average. Really really bad trade by the Mets.

    This is a pretty cool video because you can hear Soriano hitting a home run in the background and I'm 50-50 on him ever hitting another one again reminiscing on better days :P

    I'm getting some hardcore schadenfreude from seeing DeRosa potentially out for the season for the Cardinals. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy, but to see the Cardinals send one of their better relievers in return for basically nothing is so great. Too bad we wont take advantage of this.

    Putting Hart in the rotation is pretty bad, but I'd rather he in than Samardzija. Marshall simply isn't stretched out to go, unless you want to piggy back him or something. Really not that many better options, we just could have hoped that Dempster not go and break his foot doing something stupid honestly.

    Really not the best match up we could hope for We're gonna need a lot of runs because Hart just isn't that good. Really painful not having Dempster out there. We need to win this game. We need to score a lot runs. Just do it cubs, this is the kinda game you guys love to drop, fight that urge today. Just win. Just win.

    That was one of the suckier games this season I wish we could win some of these, it would really help. I hate being shutdown completely

    My bad, I was refering to Fielder. I know my share of Brewer fans who are not big fans of Fielder, at least as far as his non baseball personality. Really? I always thought Fielder was a nice guy. I have friends who regularly go to the Sunday games where the players sign autographs for kids at their positions on the field and according to them, Prince is the only guy out there who never engages the kids or takes them to another position to get an extra autograph. He seems to be a pretty angry dude at life in general and especially his dad. thats so funny because its juxtaposed with his appearance as a big chubby little kid that has horrible tattoos on his neck

    Seriously? If Seth Smith was good, he'd start for the Rockies, not be a 5th OFer. I don't know anything about the Rockies system, but it would have to be pretty good to get 18 months of Halladay. I think the Brewers would have to give up Gamel, Escobar, AND additional prospects to get in the Halladay discussion. He's worth much more than CC was last year because Halladay has 1.5 seasons and everyone knew CC was going for the big money to the west or east coast after the season. Yeah but we already know the big money that Halladay is going to get next year. He's owed 16 million for 2010...can the Brewers even add that to their payroll?
