  1. I wouldn't test it in this weather, especially because if you miss they get the ball on their own 43
  2. If this wasn't Campbell we're in sorta no mans land, not a good FG try and dumb to punt, oh well CORRECTION: decent punt. we're gonna need 4 safeties to win this guys
  3. wait i missed what happened to Cutler, what the heck happened?
  4. Pretty much as bad as possible on offense so... we can only go up? Maybe? And Cutler isn't even being pressured. Blargh.
  5. still not sure why kellen davis is allowed to see the field
  6. please present me one more person that says 'cutler isn't tough' so i can kill them
  7. touch challenge - i doubt theres indisputable evidence
  8. nice idea by cutler but he has to stay behind the line, oh well
  9. score a [expletive] touchdown with the benefit of this excellent field position AGAIN you morons
  10. Not even mad about the Defense, the Texans were always gonna score a little in this game, squarely on dumb offense right now
  11. yeah, definitely not getting the job done... though I think Tice is the only person who doesn't realize that And Mike Martz and Ron Turner and Lovie Smith and Jerry Angelo
  12. Not really sure how we can win this game without huge turn overs
  13. None of this makes any sense from a playcalling perspective: the conditions are shitty so we are gonna try big hitting plays and passes to Hester and guys that have no hands?
  14. Uh, guess its not our night then
  15. God damnit Hester just move forward on a 3rd and 1
  16. Kellen Davis is worse than useless
  17. I endorse this whole Christian Ponder thing, keep doing it forever I hope
  18. Check out the DVOAs and tell me this team looks 2001-y. Been checking DVOA every week, and the negative offensive DVOA is troubling. Hadn't stacked it up to 2001 until now. It's interesting: http://www.footballoutsiders.com/dvoa-ratings/2004/2001-dvoa-ratings-and-commentary 2012 Bears are clearly better compared to their competition on defense, much better (Their DVOA on defense is otherworldy, historic, which I think even the biggest fan of the defense can agree with, isn't the Greatest of All Time Great, though in this day and age with how easily offenses can move, perhaps?) . Offense is just as bad (actually 2012 is a little worse, but we'll see how it shakes up after this game), special teams are both great.
  19. The Vikings getting tapped would be so nice, I just can't wait for them to be demoralized before the Bears play them
  20. yay still feels a little 2001-y, but whaddayagonnado can't complain about domination wish the offensive line was better
  21. It's so strange, the defense is so good that they are literally joking with each other when they don't get an interception, and the offense is a dumpster fire and really makes me scared I mean that's been the post-2000s Bears generally, but it still sucks
  22. It's not the turnovers that are unsustainable it's the defensive tds One thing pointed out often is how forced fumbles are sustainable but *recovering* them is not (its primarily luck) but i think last i checked the Bears aren't really "outperforming" their expected fumble recoveries because they force so many I don't agree with that at all. The best forcer of fumbles is in the secondary, fumbles in the secondary are typically recovered by the D. The most frequent way to force fumbles are on sacks. Those are typically recovered by the D too. Football outsiders has a whole bit about it, there's an average predictor for fumble recoveries (sort of like BABIP normalizes around a certain number, say, .300) and teams can over or under perform that number
  23. That Offensive Line keeps reminding us why they suck and still not much is done (if there is anything to do at this point) to help it
