  1. The only pro team that I really think is averse to winning are the Pirates, because they really do end up making more money with a low payroll
  2. That's why most teams hire a new GM, but that's not why the Bears did. If so, Lovie would have been gone at the same time as Angelo. Emery also is a scout by trade, not a guy who has made a living working underneath shrewd GMs who make strong, bold moves. The boldest move he could make at this point is finally making OL a priority and doing everything he can to build this organization around it's franchise QB not around a coach, a defensive scheme, and "his" players. i'm starting to think that there's something to the idea that the mccaskeys just want to be competitive and not win the super bowl. maybe they got a bad taste in their mouths the last time the bears won it all because it may have cost them money. I know you're playing somewhat of a reverse trolling game, but how could they have possibly lost money in the Super Bowl game? they had to pay up. the 80's hawks were always a goaltender away for the same reason. Pay up what? Like coaches and players? They more than made up that money in ticket sales and merchandise from the fanfare over how good those 80s teams were
  3. Christian Ponder is playing the "I can only throw to Kyle Rudolph so its astonishing you let him be open" game

  5. i think lovie gets another year and tice gets canned. bates steps in at oc. How do you feel as Bates in that situation? You're likely getting only a year to prove yourself and you get replaced because your head coach is almost certainly on his way out Try to prove to the rest of the league you can playcall? (With a terrible offensive line, almost certainly)
  6. Kellen Davis, don't talk to Forte, you may infect him with badness
  7. Forte had a really great game, and ices it
  8. Jay Culter just saved the season Love Cutler
  9. Please run the clock down and win please please
  10. I'm not sure how you can punt? They have moved the ball effortlessly, this game is over right?
  11. Can we get a personal foul on a Lion? Please? They are trying to start fights over and over
  12. A good drive with points pretty much wins this so do that i guess
  13. Tillman against the the Panthers in 2008 I believe? I mean it was mid-season though
  14. I never like these sorts of penalties, even when it benefits the Bears The defenders can't stop themselves
  15. Hmmm its tough to say which is better, a 2nd and 13 or a 3rd and 5 I think you should probably take the penalty
  16. He's special because he really takes advantage of his really rare opportunities, he gets maybe 2-3 balls thrown his way a game, and he MUST drop/fumble/fall-down-resulting-in-interception on most of them
  17. Marshall is just awful today Fight for a ball dude
  18. hahah Kellen Davis is so cut
  19. Earl Bennett is having just an ubelievable game it reminds me of his game vs. the Eagles in 2010
  20. i hate this [expletive] team [expletive] you score a [expletive] td when they give one to you you [expletive] idiots
  21. There's that self-destruction EDIT: The Bears counter with self-destruction of their own.
  22. ahahah this is magical, they've made a team that wanted to quit, and a fanbase that really didn't want to cheer, to be super empowered
  23. Even with Lovie potentially going home? the bears have a puncher's chance if they get in a puncher's chance usually implies that the puncher can hang through the rounds and get a knock out shot and win the fight The Bears Do Not Have A Punchers Chance
