  1. WHEN WILL THE BEARS RECOVER A FUMBLE [expletive]
  2. Lol the Bears defense can't even deal worth surrender drives.
  3. Brandon Marshall is a grown ass man
  4. Stop fighting idiots
  5. If Cutler doesn't look good on this drive put McCown in at half
  6. This team tried really hard to tell us they weren't a playoff team in the Minnesota game and none of us listened
  7. Odd that Cutler psychically transferring his essence into McCown's body somehow allows himself to play much better... What if... What if... its Jay Cutler's body, seemingly of nigh-perfect Quarterback physical talents, is actually letting him down, throwing those questionable passes and strange interceptions. What if Cutler never wanted to do those things at all? What a tragedy.
  8. Everything about this post is uncontroversial and should be agreed upon by all of Bear Fandom except for the last sentence, IMO
  9. I like DVOA and DYAR but I also give them slightly less credence than advanced fielding stats in baseball
  10. "Throws too much to X receiver" is an incoherent statement. The Quarterback throws to whoever is open, or the play is designed (like a pick play) to get someone specific open. The quarterback doesn't like, decide to throw it to someone for weird morality reasons. Unless its Kellen Davis. You never throw to Kellen Davis.
  11. I will say that McCown was noticeably more accurate on short, screen and dump off passes, he's better at leading them, better at giving the runner a chance to move with the ball and better at not throwing them in the dirt. That's just one aspect he's better at. Really looking forward to seeing Cutler out there, couldn't wish for a better opponent to go against, shame it's on the road though.
  12. I have a feeling, backed by absolutely no evidence, that Cutler won't be back next year, for one reason or another. His saga will be of solidly above average quarterback play, an excellent record combined with very unlucky injury and tie breaker luck, and the undeserved scorn of a bunch of meatballs. And the football world will move on, as if nothing changed much. I'd still always defend Angelo's trade for him as well. Took brass balls and was probably the boldest and best move he ever made. (Maybe Peppers? Finding Robbie Gould on a trash heap?)
  13. Sad that its looking unlikely for Briggs to start. Hope we haven't seen the last of him
  14. It's really just Bernstein. Boers is the clown that shows up to keep the attention of the rabble. Boers is really the more tolerable of the two, he basically doesn't even care about sports anymore, which is hilarious given that he's on a 5 hour long sports show every day. The show is more entertaining when they aren't strictly dealing with sports anyway. Bears still only have a 26.3% chance of making the playoffs, unfortunately, so I'd hold the horses and the whole "break through, dangerous team in the playoffs" stuff. http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/playoffodds That Minnesota loss was just devastating.
  15. Browns are favored :-s I mean, I guess the Bears have been really bad on the road, especially against bad teams. I hope Cutler starts and is good and everyone shuts up.
  16. It's going to be a really big decision next week if Cutler is cleared to play If he's cleared to play I go Cutler without even thinking. Especially against a bad team like the Browns. If he's """Cleared""" to play like he was against the Lions on 3 weeks rest with an injury that needs 4 weeks or more typically, well, thats different. Kyle Orton sighting!! Hooray!! The Cowboys really do want to make us happy :)
  17. Jesus christ they wont shut up with the McCown-Cutler stuff. Its insufferable
  18. It sucks that they lost Tillman, Henry Melton, DJ Williams and Briggs for (effectively) the season really EDIT: ahahahahaha make it a blowout again. Go home Dallas.
  19. Ahahah this is the best Michael Bush has looked as a Bear, bar none
  20. Really? Onside like that? You do know the Bears can very easily hand you 2 three and outs like its nothing? I'll take the easy field position though
  21. Just make sure to take ~4 minutes off the clock.
  22. God its so great to embarrass the Cowboys (i know this is far from over)
  23. Yo, when Michael Bush does that to you, give it up
  24. I have no idea what that penalty is for
