God this sucks, barely any of the noon games have any bearing on the Bears chances (ho ho ho) except for, kinda, the Dallas-Washington game.

idiotic if true If they re-sign Deng I might have to give up having hope for this team until the administration, etc. leaves. That would be unconscionably insane. It would be getting the coach the administration doesn't even seem to *like* his aging, injury-prone, blankie. A blankie that's very good at basketball yes, but has had absurd amounts of minutes piled on his body, and costs way too much. It's a basketball hell move.

I'll put on my Bears homer hat and say that every team gets screwed by the refs, Bears included. Lions pissed this away just like they historically piss away games. I mean - Ravens never found the end zone and the Lions still couldn't win. And as bad as some of those calls were, nobody forced Stafford to throw 3 horrendous picks in the 2nd half. Feels good for the Bears to have control of their own destiny. Too bad the Packers and the Lions are both at home and play patsies. Maybe this will be such a demoralizing loss the Lions will drop another. Who knows, either way, the Bears can earn their way in and blame no one but themselves.
