We will see what school Kelly belongs to. To me you get what you deserve if you try to dial it back and then just expect to turn it back on the next week like that. But there are definitely coaches who do that. And won superbowls doing it. Lovie did it and they went to a superbowl. There's nothing wrong with it.

God I can't believe I'm so invested in the playoff fate of a team that will almost certainly be routinely dispatched in the first round But at least it makes up for missing the playoffs the last 2 years

There's that but there's also this inability by either the Steelers or Giants to take advantage of anything except to prolong the games. It's maddening.

It's almost awe inspiring to see an offense this bad in the modern NFL. The giants have 11 first downs. They have less than 200 yards of offense. How is that even possible?

This doesn't make sense. If the Lions win and the Bears lose, they'll be depending on a Minnesota win (lol) next week to not be eliminated. Its far, far, far, far better if the Lions get eliminated this week and at least the Bears can play themselves in, at home, against a mediocre team, that might not play Rodgers.

blocked the field goal, picked it up, tried to lateral it while being tackled, the guy dropped it, and a lineman smacked it out of bounds. Penalty for hitting the ball out gives an auto-first down because the refs ruled the guy who lateralled never controlled it. That sounds mind-blowingly stupid
